Haha, it doesn’t make much sense to me so I doubt anyone else would understand 😆
Daisy I do have some storage crates for Xmas gifts but alas don't have months where I won’t use the budget as I’ve a book with how much I spend on everyone and it’s totted up and split over the year equally, so usually no leftovers infact often the opposite 😩
Lady with a plan, after this year off shopping (and a diet) I shall be shopping for vintage and swishing about looking glamorous, you have sold it to me! 😬
Had Aunt over today for coffee then lunch at mums, followed by yet more tidying up, as fast as I do it somebody or the cats make a mess, then I spent half an hour trying to coax Dotty (the dotty cat) down from the very high wall of kitchen cupboards that are about three inches from the ceiling, what a plonker! Got her down and she was trying to get back up again after 🤦🏼♀️
Anyway tonight apparently we have a house full of ds1’s mates over to watch the darts, was going to pop out and get nachos/dips etc, but they are ordering pizza , hooray! There will be about 11 in total so that’s saved me money 😂 dinner for ds2 (who won’t pay for pizza I’m sure) and DIl/dh is yesterdays leftover pasta sauce with pasta and spinach , I’ve put bacon in dh’s as he won’t comprehend dinner with no meat, although with 2 rashers of bacon it’s virtually veggie anyway!

I think cats just like being up high. Used to have a cat who lives to lie on top of the boiler, we would have to bribe her down by opening the fridge door.
Have you thought about doing a flow chart with your budgeting? Serious question, it can help with keeping track of things.1 -
Hi Kp, I keep track in a Filofax which is of course very retro 😆 of all the outgoings and incomings every month are balanced off and I have a spreadsheet for the mortgage. Would a flowchart add to that do you think? Happy to try anything!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁2

Still a little unsure of what day it is post Xmas, thought it was Tuesday yesterday 😆 anyway I’ve a nice £1.92 payable from tcb today which has been requested, it will probably be topped up by 8p - can you do an 8p bank transfer?! and added to the £1 a day pot. Had a couple of surveys yesterday and noticed I am 27% of the way to getting a £50 voucher! This seems way quicker than when I used to do surveys years ago, they we were very long and for 10p.Taking dad to hospital today for a small procedure, mums coming and insisting I take her car as she won’t sit in the back of mine as it’s scary 😆 other than that it’s a day of catching up on washing, trying to make dinner for myself, dil and ds2 from the cupboard without shopping (frozen fish and chips for the others).Sadly the rent has not been paid (at all not just the extra) that was supposed to be from dh’s boss, apparently it’s on its way tomorrow. Things are being bought and plans being made to move machinery around different premises - not viable plans as they don’t seem to realised to weight of them and the fact we spent £1000’s moving them with specialist equipment when we moved there, they can’t just go in the back of a van 🙄 still I guess pretty soon we will know if the company is staying and if they are going to sign the lease they should have last September! I’m still acting as if everything will be fine until it’s not 😬MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁3

You can definitely do an 8p bank transfer, I've done 1p loads of times 👍😀
Hope the rent gets paid tomorrow xMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Also you reminded me that I had a kids filofax..https://www.amazon.co.uk/Funfax-Organiser/dp/1855970112 why did I love this so much?
How the rent gets paid. Have you looked into your legal options just in case?
How your dad's procedure goes well2 -
I love my filofax, upgraded from a big hardback yearly diary a few years ago, that’s one cool Filofax you had there KP 😆
If the rent doesn’t get paid we will give notice which will be a six month period, or longer if it’s a court thing which seems unlikely. Should be sent over today but apparently will take two days to arrive as it’s private banking?!Dad was fine yesterday thanks for asking. Well ds2 is putting in for his driving test, his instructor says it’s a 6 month wait and he can get cancellations through a company for a fee of I think £125 plus normal fee which is what he’s going to do so £182 odd 😱 he’s got the money but I feel it’s something we should pay for and dh agrees, plus he’s paid for his own lessons. So I’m going to give him the money and ds1 the same for buying something when he moves out. I won’t do the same for dd which is unusual, as on reflection we paid for a weekend to centreparcs for dd and her partner when she got a first in her degree, I always feel like things should be relatively fair, it’s a hard one to get right! So the £137.50 saved yesterday is gone now 😆 plus I shall add £62.50 from the new January fun fund - there’s nowhere else to take it from and send it to ds2 , next month I’ll give ds1 effectively his rent of £125 and top it up with £75 from wherever else. If he passed his test that will be fun so I guess it’s ok 😬£5.60 spent yesterday on cat litter and milk, nothing the day before. Out later for a walk and coffee at the local country park and then clearing the new room I decorated to use as office space for ds1’s partner who is moving in next week! Apparently she has a VAST amount of clothes and shoes 😂MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁5 -

Hi, coming out of lurking..... With your sons driving test, he can book a date 6 months out and then just purchase an app (approx cost £15) which sends alerts when cancellations become available. The only cost is the app, everything is booked via the DVSA online, so he'd pay his initial test fee, then the app.....
There's a lot of scam companies out there now fraudulently booking up tests and then re-selling them at a high fee. This is why the wait is so long. (husband is a driving instructor). Anyway, just thought I'd share as it would save you £100 and potentially stop your money from funding these dodgy companies. I've literally no idea how they get away with it.5
