I'm not going to even pretend to understand your maths there NG, but I'm sure you've got it! 😂
Oh I'm so glad I'm not the only one 🤣!
You are definitely not... I never follow it, but if it works for NG and she needs it written down then I'll just nod along politely! She is a master manipulator of figures!
I'm with you and SC there! 🤣

Haha, it doesn’t make much sense to me so I doubt anyone else would understand 😆

Daisy I do have some storage crates for Xmas gifts but alas don't have months where I won’t use the budget as I’ve a book with how much I spend on everyone and it’s totted up and split over the year equally, so usually no leftovers infact often the opposite 😩

Lady with a plan, after this year off shopping (and a diet) I shall be shopping for vintage and swishing about looking glamorous, you have sold it to me! 😬

Had Aunt over today for coffee then lunch at mums, followed by yet more tidying up, as fast as I do it somebody or the cats make a mess, then I spent half an hour trying to coax Dotty (the dotty cat) down from the very high wall of kitchen cupboards that are about three inches from the ceiling, what a plonker! Got her down and she was trying to get back up again after 🤦🏼‍♀️

Anyway tonight apparently we have a house full of ds1’s mates over to watch the darts, was going to pop out and get nachos/dips  etc, but they are ordering pizza , hooray! There will be about 11 in total so that’s saved me money 😂 dinner for ds2 (who won’t pay for pizza I’m sure) and DIl/dh is yesterdays leftover pasta sauce with pasta and spinach , I’ve put bacon in dh’s as he won’t comprehend dinner with no meat, although with 2 rashers of bacon it’s virtually veggie anyway!

I think cats just like being up high. Used to have a cat who lives to lie on top of the boiler, we would have to bribe her down by opening the fridge door.

Have you thought about doing a flow chart with your budgeting? Serious question, it can help with keeping track of things.

Hi Kp, I keep track in a Filofax which is of course very retro 😆 of all the outgoings and incomings every month are balanced off and I have a spreadsheet for the mortgage. Would a flowchart add to that do you think? Happy to try anything!

Still a little unsure of what day it is post Xmas, thought it was Tuesday yesterday 😆 anyway I’ve a nice £1.92 payable from tcb today which has been requested, it will probably be topped up by 8p - can you do an 8p bank transfer?! and added to the £1 a day pot. Had a couple of surveys yesterday and noticed I am 27% of the way to getting a £50 voucher! This seems way quicker than when I used to do surveys years ago, they we were very long and for 10p.

Taking dad to hospital today for a small procedure, mums coming and insisting I take her car as she won’t sit in the back of mine as it’s scary 😆 other than that it’s a day of catching up on washing, trying to make dinner for myself, dil and ds2 from the cupboard without shopping (frozen fish and chips for the others).

Sadly the rent has not been paid (at all not just the extra) that was supposed to be from dh’s boss, apparently it’s on its way tomorrow. Things are being bought and plans being made to move machinery around different premises - not viable plans as they don’t seem to realised to weight of them and the fact we spent £1000’s moving them with specialist equipment when we moved there, they can’t just go in the back of a van 🙄 still I guess pretty soon we will know if the company is staying and if they are going to sign the lease they should have last September! I’m still acting as if everything will be fine until it’s not 😬

If you have full sight then don't add any work into your routine!

Also you reminded me that I had a kids filofax..https://www.amazon.co.uk/Funfax-Organiser/dp/1855970112 why did I love this so much?

How the rent gets paid. Have you looked into your legal options just in case?

How your dad's procedure goes well
