Hello Ladies,
Today I took my son to Beboz Italian street food in the city. I got a Groupon for the 2 of us for only £13.27. I saved £15.63 on the menu prices. I will be taking my daughter next visit with the other Groupon.
We had lovely fresh pasta and flat breads with cheese with a can of coke for my son and a bottle of San Pellegrino for me.
I had wholemeal fusilli with spicy chicken, spicy tomato sauce and lots of chargrilled vegetables. My son had spaghetti with meatballs and tomato sauce topped with cheese.
We both really enjoyed our meals and it was nice to spend some time one on one with my son.

Hampton Court is nice.:)
I haven't been feeling fab at all. I slipped getting out of the bath when I first moved here and it happened again and I really wrenched my shoulder. I had to call 111 and the person who called me back said if it got worse to go to A&E. They gave me naproxen which has helped and I think it was just badly bruised. It does feel better, but still hurts. I think it is just the shape of the bath so I'm being very careful getting in and out from now on!
I was supposed to be going out next week to meet my brother in south London but I don't want to get on a tube with lots of people in case they bump into my shoulder. It feels like I haven't been out in ages!
I did dye my hair last night as I could see my natural roots showing through. I also put on a conditioning treatment for an hour after while I watched TV. I really need my hair cut but my hairdresser is on holiday until mid August so I will wait until then.
I think I will go out and look around the chazzers today as some are open on a Sunday. I need some tops as I only have vest tops and then long sleeved. I need some t-shirt tops for when it isn't too warm.4 -
Wednesday I found my bath quite slippy at first when I get out, I have a shower screen half way along so get out at the non-tap end. I found some stick-on grip strips (I think in B&M or Home Bargains?) and since putting those on the bottom of the bath I feel much more secure 😉

Floss - I will have to look for something that makes the bath more secure, thanks.
I have been going out for walks the past few days as I am feeling so sluggish after not doing much for the past few months. I have been using my pedometer to count my steps. Walking along the beach is so nice anyway and I've started listening to podcasts while I walk.
I went to some chazzers Sunday and today and have bought a few skirts, dresses and tops. I also bought an across body bag so I can put my keys, water bottle etc... in while I walk. I've been going out quite early to miss the heat, but the rest of this week is meant to be very hot so I might have to get up even earlier the next few days.
I'm suprised how busy the beach is at 8 in the morning. There are a few people swimming and paddleboarding every day.2025 GOALS

Hello Ladies,
I went to the Southwark Playhouse yesterday evening to watch the musical Tasting Notes. It was a very entertaining musical. The actors were all really accomplished singers as well as actors. For me this musical was a 8.5/10.
I only paid £5 for my ticket where it would normally have cost me £20 for a concessions ticket at this theatre, so I saved myself £15.5 -
Hello Ladies,
I went to the Dorfman Theatre at the National yesterday evening to see the play All Of Us. I got a £10 ticket in Friday Rush for a ticket worth £35, saving me £25.
It is a play that challenges our assumptions and preconceptions about the abilities and personalities of disabled people. It is a riotous celebration of 2 very strong disabled female actors who both are main characters in the drama.I hope that other plays will now have disabled actors front and centre as main characters.
The play totally captivated all of my senses, thoroughly entertained me and had me leaning into the action at times. I absolutely loved it.For me this play was a 10/10

Hello Ladies,
Floss, I hope you really enjoy Prima Facie.
I lost another pound in weight this week, so that is 10 pounds lost so farOnly another 2 stones and 4 pounds to go.
Yesterday morning I went to Blackfriars Settlement for the mental health and wellbeing discussion. It was a lively discussion at times, but Ad, was always there to moderate. Ad had to call out Andrew again, as not over was he talking over me, he started to shout at me. Ad dealt with him effectively. The discussion continued. We were all give free mini twister lollies and a free bottle of water each as the weather was so hot. Very welcome by all of us.
Yesterday evening I went to watch the musical about Bob Marley's life, Get Up! Stand Up! and it was absolutely a fantastic, joyful evening out for me at the Lyric Theatre in Shaftesbury Avenue. It was another 10/10 for me. I had a very good seat in the 3rd row from the stage, at the end of a row, which gives me extra leg room. The seat was worth £75 but I got it for £29.95, a substantial saving for me.
It is a hot start to the day here in South London, so I had my son bring my large chrome floor fan down to the Living room for me, as I already need it. I had to have it on last night as well.3 -
Sugarbaby, it was very very good, Jolie Comer was incredible and it is a very powerful play. If you get an opportunity to see either the stage show or a National Theatre screening I would strongly recommend that you go.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
