I saw Prima Facie on Thursday night too. It was the most remarkable performance from Jodie Comer, how she did that night after night astounds me, just superb. Looking forward to hearing what you think of it Sugarbaby6

Ski Bunny it was good that you enjoyed Prima Facie so much. I am all booked to see it at the Ritzy cinema on Tuesday. I am so looking forward to it.4

Hello Ladies,
Yesterday lunch time, my daughter and I went to Beboz Italian street food with the other Groupon. We both really enjoyed our wholewheat fusili with spicy chicken, spicy tomato sauce and vegetables, flatbread with cheese and a soft drink each. The Groupon cost me £13.27 which saved me £15.63 on the menu prices.
It is scorching hot here in South London, but we are coping well with the use of our electric fans at home and wooden hand fans when travelling on public transport.

Hello Ladies,
Yesterday I went to the Ritzy cinema to a special screening of the film Dancehall Queen. I enjoyed watching this iconic film again about life and it's harsh realities in Jamaica. There was a Q & A session after the film with the film's Director Don Letts, which was engaging, entertaining and educational. This event was a 7.5/10 for me.
Today I went to Wonderville in the Haymarket which is a magic and cabaret show. The acts were talented, but the audience was less than half full, so it felt like the performers were not doing their all to entertain us. I got my ticket for only £6.50 which was worth £46.75 including the online booking fee, so I saved myself £40.25. The show was another 7.5/10 for me.4 -
@sugarbaby125 Thanks for your update on your recent trips out, they all sound really interesting.
I’ve been reading along, but haven’t updated. We’ve decorated another room (4 to go) and done more decluttering and organising, although have struggled with motivation due to the heat. We are due rain tomorrow, so that will hopefully cool everything down.

Hello Ladies,
Thanks Chanie. You and your husband have done a tremendous amount of work on your home, well done both of you.
Yesterday I went to the Ritzy cinema in Brixton to watch the film Blind Ambition. It is such an inspiring, uplifting film. It is about the 1st ever Zimbabwean team in the World Wine Tasting competition. It was entertaining and I was totally engrossed as their individual stories unfolded. This film was a 9.5/10 for me.
I used £2.50 of my Tesco Clubcard vouchers to buy a £7.50 Picturehouse cinema voucher. The Ritzy is a Picturehouse cinema and on Mondays all tickets are £7.90. I booked online, as my previous 2 visits to the Ritzy with the code, caused issues, as only one manager who works at the Ritzy is aware of how to put the voucher through the till. I booked online, as it was so much simpler even though I have to pay a 70p booking fee.4 -
@sugarbaby125 it is really annoying when you have difficulty getting an offer. I normally begrudge having to pay extras, like a booking fee, but sometimes, it’s just easier. At least the film was worth it.
We finally got some rain today. The weather app kept changing the predictions, so it I wasn’t sure it was ever going to happen!! We are due a lot more rain tomorrow though.
My Mum wants us to have Xmas together this year. We haven’t spent Xmas together since before lockdown, due to various families health, so it will be nice to have Xmas together and I will be hosting. It will be good incentive to finish off the decorating.3 -
Hello Ladies,
Today I finally watched Prima Facie. Jodie Comer has always been one of my favourite female actors, but after watching her performance in this play, I have a new found respect for her talents.
She was so superb. It was the tone and nuances of all of the 'voices' of each of the characters, that she portrayed not just that of the central character Tessa. I was moved to tears at times. Jodie completely carried me away with her bravura performance. She was astounding in her breadth and depth of talent. This play was a 10/10 for me.
I used £6 of my Tesco Clubcard vouchers to buy an £18 Picturehouse voucher and booked my ticket online for a total of £18.20 including the 70p booking fee.
I was running late, so it was a good job I already had my ticket to hand and did not need to purchase it at The Ritzy. I did not miss a second of the play.4 -
Good Morning lovely ladies
well I'm back. With a vengeance. 😂🤣. Sort of lost myself back there, no motivation, lots of fibro pain, the 8th anniversary of my husbands death, the slow progress on the house sale and to cap it all the awful heat. phew, no wonder I fell by the wayside there.Anyhoo.......it's time to draw a line in the sand and get back down to business......time to get off my derrière and start taking ACTION
So I have rejoined WW online, had a wardrobe clear out (another will be required when I've lost weight).Back in the game.......😉
well done on weight loss SUgarbaby and all the outings. You are an inspiration.5
