Hello my wonderful beautiful friends.
And a very Happy, Healthy and Wealthy New Year to each and everyone of you.
Are you ready to put some Va Va Voom back into your lives. I am. I am soooooo ready. 2021 was the absolute pits for me but I'm drawing a line. I'm done with looking backwards.
It's a new dawn, (ok afternoon😂) a new day, a new year and I'm feeling good, if a little bit sloth like today. But I mean business. I am allowing myself one more day of idleness and then it all starts in earnest tomorrow.
So ladies.....let's get ready. Tomorrow I shall put my big girl panties on and get down to business.
But for today I'm going to put my feet up, eat drink and be merry.
For the newbies each year I chose a word or phrase, which becomes my mantra for the year.
This year my phrase is "radical transformation".
Yep, the whole enchilada. Time for some big changes. A new me, a new life. I will post my manifesto tomorrow.
Until then, think about yours. What are your plans, hopes and dreams. What do you want to achieve, where do you see yourself in 12 months time.
Happy planning. Until tomorrow. ❤️

Happy New Year to you all.😊
My first resolution is to post more regularly. 😉
Like you, @helensbiggestfan, I'm putting off starting the new year. Monday is my start when things get back to some sort of 'normal' routine.8 -
Hi fabbers,
ive been thinking about what I want to achieve in 2022 and here are my goals.
- loose weight, which is always on my list, but I never do. I do need to get healthier, but also enjoy my nice clothes.
- exercise more, I’ve done a bit of yoga, but need to add in some cardio.
- add some colour into the garden and make it more wildlife friendly.
- build a better social life.
- have more trips out, explore new places and enjoy life.
as I’ve been typing this, I think my word is ‘opportunity’ (to have a happy and healthy life).7 -
Hello Ladies,
My word for 2022 is Sentient
Once I turn 60 in April I will be able to apply for my TFL 60 plus Oyster card, which will entitle me to free travel on London buses, underground trains and trams until I become 66 and qualify for my Freedom Pass. This will open up so many opportunities for me, as I will not have to factor in travel costs, when I want to try new experiences in London.
My biggest goal is to lose enough weight, to be able to try on all of my clothes, then make decisions about all of the clothes I am willing to sell on eBay. It is a process that will probably take me months, but I will make the time. I have bought myself a new pair of Slazenger black leather trainers that were only £22.99 including delivery costs, as I plan to do a lot more walking in 2022 and my current trainers are years old.
I have 4 clothes rails full of clothes, plus 2 x 80 litre plastic containers, a suitcase and a large weekend size bag full of clothes. I want to cut down my clothing until I just have the 4 clothes rails full of clothes. The vast majority of my clothes are really luxurious clothing that is suitable for nights outs. The pandemic has curtailed my opportunities for those types of nights out. I will never be a capsule wardrobe woman, but even if I was out most evenings in the week and weekends, I could not have enough opportunities to wear my more opulent clothing.
I also want to make more time to visit my family, especially those members of my family that live in or just outside of London.

@sugarbaby125 I can see you getting excellent value from your 60+ Oyster card 😁
I think my word will be mindful as I want to be not only more aware of myself and my health & wellbeing but also to be more aware of my impact on society & the world I live in.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
