Cashed out £6.55 from prolific, hoping a few more studies come up while I am sat working this morning :)
Counting down the days until payday - my chase round up account has just reached a year and is transferring to my savings, I am going to move that straight to my loan so that is another £52. Not bad considering I haven't used that account for 3 months - I think come beginning of August, if it still does round ups I need to transfer my spends into that one.

Best do some work - no spend day planned :)

Oh forgot to add, I was promised headphones with my phone which never came. After a bit of to and fro, they finally agreed to put money on my phone account to the value of the headphones, so £80 means no phone bills for a few months 😁 didn't need the headphones anyway, it was the principle of it!

£5.22 cashed out from prolific today. Quiet day. Managed to get parkrun in before the rain this morning, sat and did nothing this afternoon as weather so bad, bit of reading and bit of TV. 😄 hopefully better weather tmw!

Car passed MOT today, no problems. Making some key rings and lanyards today. I love getting my sewing machine out 🙂

Really getting impatient with debt free day getting near, I want to speed it up, but I can't work out how .. just got to wait for marking money to come in. And payday for next big payment. And need prolific to hurry up and clear. And more vinted sales! 🤣

£5.35 from prolific plus another £20 cash my brother borrowed a while back that I'd forgotten about. So popped that on loan.

OH just been offered job, slight pay cut but he'll still have fairly good income so stress gone there. It is a relief because I thought I might have to hold the fort money wise.

Just spring cleaned bathroom and kitchen. Such a nice feeling. Going for a wander into town now for some fresh air.

  • Hi, well done on how you are doing. Doesn't the £80 from the headphones count as extra because you won't need to pay your phone bill for a few months? Good luck on reaching the finishing point V x

@vampirotoothus yep! Payment each month will go on loan or savings because money is already budgeted for.

  • Nice work on the phone bill credit. It most definitely is the principle, I would have done the same!

Has anyone ever used shopmium before? I was reading about it as cashback... is it worth a go?

I have used it, and I enjoyed it at first but unless you actually need/want/use the items on there it's not really a benefit.  I ended up deleting the app
