    Yes in excellent 😊

I'm feeling more positive today, I think it was just hours sat at a computer making me miserable.

£25 off cc today, parkrun completed although slow and painful. Off to look at some art in Dorset arts week now. Making the most of the sun 😁

    Just checking in 🙂

All going well on money front. Aiming to get under 11k by my birthday (22nd). Should be doable as loan payment goes out before then. I'd love to get it to under 10 but no chance of that before my birthday 😂

Used vinted for first time and sold some dungarees for £25. Just waiting for that to come in and it'll go as another payment on CC. It was so easy. I might rummage and see what else I can list because every penny counts!

More marking for me today - and I might go for a stroll into town. Oh and mountains of washing to do!

  • Well done on the sale! I'm also selling on Vinted for the first time and I'm amazed at how simple it is. I have another parcel to post this morning :)

Your latest check in sounds more positive which is good :)

Vinted is so much better than eBay in my opinion. Well done on the sale!

Another sale on vinted ☺️ just got to wait for the money to come in and then it'll be credit card under £3k! I'm pretty motivated at the moment even though I know I may have to slow payments down for a couple of months - my tutoring goes quiet now hence the marking contract to try and fill the income gap.

Downloaded colouring trackers. Can't believe I've paid off nearly 30% of my debt since new year and I now have se emergency savings I can think about redirecting.

Off to update signature, do a mountain of washing up and do more marking while OH is out on a long run.

  • I'm so pleased you're feeling motivated again @bigbeff!  30% cleared is a stunning amount for just 6 months so really well done you! I'm getting to colour another square today on my sealed pot tracker, I should be at £2k in a few weeks and will need to start a 3rd colouring sheet. :)

Well done, you're doing so well! Your debt is really coming down. I'll have to have a look at Vinted, it sounds good. I'm considering doing some tutoring next year to supplement my income and might try to do some exam marking next year too. How do you find the exam marking? Is it full on for a few weeks, but worth doing?
    Debt at LBM July 2017  - £42,002 (cards & loans) + £37,421 (2 mortgage consolidations)
    Car bought in Dec 2020 - £12,500
Total Debt - £54,502  (£91,923 including mortgage consolidations)

    Total Debt Jan '23 - £19,061.56 (credit cards) + £20,562 (mortgage consolidations)

Consolidated debt onto my mortgage twice in the years before LBM, so it's all consumer debt. Just focusing on clearing card debt first and letting the additional mortgages reduce with the monthly payments.
