Evening, feeling quite anxious today but a lot going on at work.
Finances ticking along, £9 payment from ebay has been sent to CC, I put £25 on DS lunch account and CB has gone into bank account today.
DH has had word from accountant and tax bill not as bad as expected so that's a positive, hopefully a couple of breaks away can be booked for the summer.
Hope everyone is ok xx2 -

Evening all, another busy day at work, anxiety is high and had a couple of wobbles today when i just wanted to cry but managed to hold it all together, felt better once i was home walked the dogs and had a chat with DH.
Finances are all ok, rent for cottage went into account today so i have sent £100 overpayment to CC1and put £100 into savings, also needed fuel today so that was £20 and a small top up shop came to £5.05p.
I'm out tomorrow night with DD we have tickets for a local amdram production and said we can go for tea first so that will be a nice treat.
All the talk in the media about rising prices is making feel a bit anxious, food prices have already gone up quite a bit and gas/electric is on its way up, I know we as a family will be ok it's the children i work with that concern me as it's always the children that end up going without and we have quite a lot of families that are on low incomes.
Thursday tomorrow so nearly the weekend.2 -
Morning, after a stressful week with work and home things came to a head yesterday and DH and I ended up having a blazing row, i spent most of the day in tears and feeling like the worst person in the world. Dog walk early evening cleared the air, but changes need to be made.
Did a shop at Lidl on Friday on my way home from work, managed to spend £68 but we are all stocked up. Brought some bananas home from work that were heading for the bin as they were quite ripe and wouldn't have lasted until Monday, made 2 banana and sultana loaves and a banoffee pie which used up some cream and a packet of OOD biscuits.
Tea tonight is steak pie, potatoes and veg I have put stewing steak in the slow cooker and need to make pastry later.
Decluttering hasn't really happened this week, just a broken torch that seems to switch itself off randomly and some plastic tubs.
I'm using up some foundation that was too thick but goes on better if i mix it with some moisturiser, the colours right so seemed a waste to just bin it.
Finances are ticking along, normal payment for CC2 has gone out, spent £20 on dog treats but these will last a good while and cheaper if i bulk bought.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend xx1 -
Sorry to hear you had a rubbish day yesterday. I hope today is better and you can sort something out. When the kids were teenagers Mr SA and I had some terrible arguments mainly around them, he was very intolerant whereas I was more relaxed. Often the bad atmosphere would hang on for days. Ironically since the brain tumour he’s no longer argumentative, seems like the part of his brain that made him so confrontational has been damaged.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

When I was growing up my parents never argued, which annoyed my mum. Seems my dad didn’t like arguing as one of them would get upset which he didn’t like. Hope you and OH are able to move on after this weekend, tho it is good to clear the air if there are any issues. Hope you have a peaceful week.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002
