Thanks @doingitanyway @MuffinTops @jwil and mrs p 😺
Thanks for reassurance regarding overthinking . We're human at the end of the day , and make mistakes ( and over worry etc ) .
Long update ahead ; 😼
I've actually been busy with the flat shenanigans ( yet again ) !
This happened by chance a couple of weeks ago chatting to my local friend over one of our cider sessions 🍻🍻. It wasn't me moaning about the flat, He just commented that " nice try with your music equipment in the tiny room . 🎹🎼If that was me, I'd pu the bed in there and put music stuff in the large bedroom ." You get the picture 🌅
So, a few days later ( last bank holiday weekend ) , I spent the entire time taking everything out of both rooms . Chaos everywhere . I was calm and took my time .I'm not too far from the finish line 🏁
Trying to be as brief as possible , the things that I have done and need to do ;
1) I moved wardrobe to another part of the room . However, I had to get local friend to help move a few inches. Thankfully ,he came over and patched up wardrobe which is now glorified firewood . 🔥. Looks great now , but it cannot be moved again. Only to scrap
2) I've spent a few days with the double bed in the small bedroom . This room has the boiler in it . Remember the gas room ? 😺
Unfortunately , the bed is just a little too big for room . However, instead of getting a single bed there is a " large single " which is a few inches smaller than double size horizontally .
More expense , but since bed has been in that room the boiler is not noisy at all 🤔
This bedroom is to the side of the building ( like majority of other flats here ) and less noisy.3) I should be wiring up all the home office / musicroom stuff later on today .
I have been feeling sick / tired at times due to my condition and doing lots of humping around etc. I did strain back lifting coffee table a bit too high . It will be okay in a couo,e if days I'm sure . I did a stretch workout yesterday ,and will do another couple over rest of weekend.
4) When I finally tackled the wardrobe , I noticed lots of mold on that wall as expected.
I used flash wipes and bleach. That wall has to be painted .I'm in 2 minds whether to just paint that wall ( white), or paint the whole office daffodil white which is same colour as front room which I painted a month ago. Where has the time gone ?
I painted the room white last year , hence my hesitation .
5) in musicroom / home office I have one section only which needs me to go through stuff and condense / put away / dump6) new bed as mentioned . Plus I need to move ottoman out of the hallway.
I also need to contact council to arrange collection of present bed and mattress .
I obviously will try to get new bed on same day as council collect present bed.
more expense , but not astronomical .
In summary regarding my latest refig ; Initially when moving into the flat , it did seem straightforward and logical to use small bedroom as musicroom / home office.
This had me moaning and groaning about lack of space as you know .
Hindsight is a wonderful thing , and my local friend ( who has a great musicroom ) 🎹🎼 is spot on. The room looks great , is very large and fits the purposes well .
If things remain quiet ( neighbours ) then all is well 🤞. If I want / have to change things around then everyhing will be much more straightforward and manageable .
Other things ; mr trainer 🏋️♂️ Very happy with workouts . He is frowning about the bread in a big way . Not happy . 🥖 I've gone down to one slice , but he's not impressed
Crisps have stopped a few days ago ,and had to . Too many have been making me too windy , and enough to take up kite flying .🪁 plus they make skiin blotchy .
I'll leave it there ..🌤3 -
The change around sounds ideal. Why have a big bedroom when you just use it to sleep?Debt free and Keeping on Track4

That's exactly what my friend said , and it makes sense .3 -

Was saying...it takes time to work out the best way to use a space. Sounds like a good idea. It maximises the space for you.
Your comment on crisps making you blotchy and windy should act as a deterrent for me when the crisp monster comes visiting
Good to read your update.

yes, crisps ( although frowned upon by mr trainer 🏋️♂️) are very good ...sparingly .
My experirence should help to keep the crisp monster restrained 😈
Yes, it's true what you say about it taking time etc

Sounds like great progress with moving things around. I'm on a mission to reduce bread at the moment too, I seem to have been eating loads and it doesn't really agree with me on that scale."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". While moving stuff around over the days, I was in a lot of pain mostly due to the myasthenia . Fellling sick etc also . I strained back the other day lifting a table too high.
However, this morning most of the pain has gone . I say gone , but felt pain while out on walk 🐾this morning . I then had a tough session with mr trainer 🏋️♂️, and there a no pain .
confused dot com . He is majorly impresssed again with everthing . Now, if I can cut bread 🥖..
I had a dream about Doctor signing fit note in my favour 🩺.
Bizarrely enough I have a phone appointment 📞on Thursday with one . This coincides with 2 notices on my u c journal reminding me if I don't get another one , then things are going to get a lot harder 🙀. I'm hoping that the phone appointment with dr goes well ,and another fit note is provided 🤞🙏
In the meantime , I have to tidy more organised clutter in the new home office / musicroom 🖥🎵🎹I also have to contact council and arrange collection of old bed🛌 ( current one) plus arrange to purchase a new one 🛏. More expense 🙀
At present overdraft hasn't been used since before Christmas 🎄.I have a small credit card bill , but my plan is to have this paid off by end of year .🤞
I'm crossing my fingers a lot these days . I'm still able to type here thankfully .
I'll leave it there ...🌤4 -
Hope the appointment goes well and you get your fit note.
Great result on not dipping into the overdraft!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Sorry you have had pain recently. I am sure your exercise helps your condition a great deal so great that you stick to it and push through.
A bed is always a good buy. We spend so much time in it and good sleep is essential.
Hope you get the fit note you are asking for.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
