You don't have a choice whether they go down the eviction route, that's for the LL to decide which they may do if the arrears build up. My comment on being upfront gives them trust in you. I have made some changes to your email you might consider.Amixo3032 said:

I am contacting yourself regarding the rent arrears of 43 ********* **** , I cant pay at the moment due to myself losing my job ect and having no savings to cover bills. but I can rest assure you I have found a job and going through the application stage and it’s going to look good , and once I get my new job I can pay the full arrears and continue paying , please understand that this is very stressful for me at this moment on time and I don’t want to cause stress with LL and yourselfs . “

I am currently going through the recruitment process of a new job and can assure you that once in position i will pay back the arrears and any interest incurred. I understand that this isn't a great situation for you and would appreciate your support to allow me to make up the arrears when back in employment.

but I’ve read up if they want to evict is it a S8 or s21 ? Because I’ve read up if it’s a s8 I can get the arrears down to under 2 months and the s8 will fail?0 -
You need to keep your arrears under 2 months or knowing estate agents they will issue you a section 8 notice to vacate.Amixo3032 said:

I'm not sure the landlord will be that understanding unless you have a prospect of rent coming in, in the foreseeable.1 -

If you keep the arrears under 2 months, an S8 action will fail, so paying a small amount this month gives you breathing space.Amixo3032 said:

There is nothing to stop an S21 action being taken (it's a no fault action) but it will take longer to get to court.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing4 -

As to whether you can stay when you clear the arrears that is 100% up to your landlord I am afraid. Keep communication going with them and the agent and they will be most understanding and more likely to help you. Do not bury your head in the sand and ignore it.1 -
