  • I'm tidying it off to our Emergency Fund holding account (spare bank account) and I will buy a PB when it builds up.
We have £20.10 in there at the minute after tonight's TT.
I brought £200 of PB the other day and have entered a line in next months provisional budget for £50.00 as a regular amount.

I also stick money in PB whenever I can - it's harder to access it than my quick access savings account so helps me not spend it!
Another couple of days of no payments out so my accounts are already frustratingly tidy 😂

  • Glad I'm not the only one frustrated when I have no tidying to be done @Starla -plenty of the boring housework tidying to do but that isn't as interesting.

Yeah @moving_forward like how I can spend time sorting out my house in video games but not my actual house 🤦🏼‍♀️

  • Managed to tidy from my direct debit account as couple bills went out ... but I have had a couple pressies to buy and found that I managed to come a couple pound short on both of the budgets  ... so I've tidied this into my loose change pot aswell ... not looking at actual figures until Sunday evening....  but moving the change from budget has definitely meant I'm more conscious to not just by a voucher for someone but to look around for bargins!

It actually was a very cheeky bargin, for my stepdads birthday, mum came to shop with me for a specific toiletry.... found they had left over Xmas gifts on offer  plus I had work discount plus used my step dads loyalty card where this month loyal customers were given an additional 10% off! We laughed felt like he helped out towards his own birthday pressie ... was going to rewrap but mum told me he won't notice the xmas box ... hmmm we will see
  • I definitely plan to use my tidying for CC Debt. Anything extra, however small is so very worth it.

An extra £4.21 to the mortgage today to make it end in a nice round 5 and then £5 to the Christmas fund. Things will slow down drastically now until I have bought the required presents and see what’s left.
