Thankyou all! Absolutely one in the eye for all the people who think plump middle-aged women should be dressed inconspicuously, in a tent of dark purple and teal and black that makes them invisible, and of course never with long loose hair or bared arms
And some coupons spent today - we spent sensibly-small amounts on everything, but were given some very kind amounts by family towards it, so now we're instructed to "get yourselves some nice things" - argh! So I have just bought four metres of very nice organic cotton material in a light leaf-green with an off-white delicate print of botanical illustrations of leaves from the Natural History Museum, from Dunelm. Extra bargain as I wanted 4 metres, and there was just under 4.5, I think about 4m 40-something-cm, so she called it four
a 10% freebie, effectively!

As for me, a tiny spend to declare via DH, whom I commissioned to do a little wool shopping as I've been laid up with Covid for a few days. I'm still only on day 4 but have had a mild dose and needed something to occupy myself. I had craft wools suitable for a toy pattern I found but needed another ball of one colour. They are 25g, 65p so not too big a dent in my coupons and amazingly, I have two balls out of stash and into use. All knitters will appreciate how rare this is! I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
