I have some spends to declare.
I have bought a pair of sandals 5 coupons (correct me if I am wrong) 61/66 coupons remaining.
I have decided to use last year's rolled over coupons to cover 2nd hand purchases, I reserve the right to reclaim them later this year if needed 🙂
Earlier this year I bought 2 second-hand tops, 5 coupons each (again correct me if I am wrong) 56/66 coupons remaining.
Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases

@Laura_Elsewhere congratulations on Your forthcoming wedding. I hope you achieve the dream wedding, that you and Mr Elsewhere would like and have a long and happy marriage together. My DH and I, went off and got married on the quiet. No hassle, just the two of us and two witnesses. We wanted to focus on what comes after - our marriage not on so much on the wedding day.
Gem, that's very nearly what we're having - we've had so much drama in the last few years with M.I. and his son being in and out of hospitals for more than one major life-threatening thing each, and a pandemic on top of that, we really have no interest in any big fancy wedding.
Us two, his son as Best Man, and one of my closest friends as Best Woman, and her very very lovely mum coming along to be All Our Families for us... just the five of us. And probably a pub meal afterwards.
And by sheer fluke I, who never wins anything, won a free break in a very very very lovely high-end rural self-catering converted-steading in a place very special to us both, and we've been able to arrange it as honeymoon so once we wave goodbye to our three wedding guests we shall drive home and collect pre-packed food and drink and bags, and then set off for our tiny honeymoon
It couldn't be lovelier, in our opinion...
Our wedding reception was a pub meal. 2 x sandwiches and 2 ploughman's. Our wedding night was in a b&b plus the two nights before. We then went to a friends for a night on the way home. When we got home we had a couple of meals out with mine and DH parents.
Our wedding, b&b, meals/drinks, whilst away, dress, hair/nails, wedding rings x2, bouquet cost between £1100-£1200.DH mum and brother gave us £500 as a wedding present, we went on a honeymoon - a few days in Portugal four months later.I know this style of wedding isn't for everyone. But, for us, we did not have to worry about debt.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Gem-gem - love the garden pictures. Makes me jealous. My roommate brought home a one-year husky who is tearing up everything and has broken every plastic pot I had. Think I am just to going to be able to dream about it this year. Saving copies of your pictures for my dream board. (Wondering still if it is possible to train a husky.)8

I fear I'm quite behind with the sowing of my seeds... although most years I lose the battle in my mind, sow in January/February and end up losing most of them anyway LOLWealth is not measured by currency8 -
You mentioning Sparks sent me off to have a look. My offers were 20% off jeans and knitwear. A merino wool jumper and cardigan and a pair of white jeans may have found their way into my click and collect bag as today was the last day to use the offer. However I’m not updating my coupons yet as I’m not convinced I’ll keep them. The knitwear is wool and I won’t buy acrylic but I’m not convinced the quality will be up to scratch for the price. The jeans may or not fit. Marks quality control is all over the place these days.
im looking on it as the equivalent of a 1940s layaway and I’ll make my mind up on ‘payday’ ie when I get them home. I’ll update coupons thenIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!9 -

I think I have blown DD's coupons already this year! 😳 I need to write a list and be held accountable. I do repair her clothes where possible and use plenty of stain remover! She has grown yet again and over 50 items of clothing and uniform to be passed on. Will be back later with a list.
I have an allotment and haven't started sowing anything yet. I have a box of seeds and need to get organised with seeing what I have. I have got in garlic, onion and early potatoes at ghd moment. Chilli's in the propagator but only 1 growing so far.7 -
For those who are busy sowing seeds outside now, you really need to do the bum test first, otherwise its a waste of time. The soil will be too cold for germination. Things are only just starting to stir - my shallots have only got the teenniest, weeniest bit of green shoot - and that only appeared this week. They were planted in January, and I live in East Wiltshire..
One of my neighbours told me years ago when I first started growing veg that it didn't hurt to wait a few weeks before planting seeds, as the later sowings soon caught up with the early ones, and usually had better resultsSealed Pot Challenge no 035.
