Evening everyone

I have made my first purchase this year! 5 coupons on yarn for a summer top. Can‘t wait to get knitting.
i also said I would buy a trench coat or some sort of jacket in March but don‘t feel like it at all… I hate buying coats/jackets… Might just make do with my rain coat and a fleece jacket, layered if necessary.

oh and I have a new dream garment that is just ridiculous. I want a very fluffy, slightly oversized black turtle neck for next winter. I have a pretty fluffy white cat so it is a stupid idea but I can‘t get it out of my mind… 😂 I know I would only wear it three times and then be fed up with getting cat hair off it….
Said cat by the way fell head over paw in love with a neighbor who came over for a cuppa earlier this week. When she left he tried sneaking out of the flat to go home with her!

Interesting idea with the 3 garments a year. Even if we leave socks, undies and stuff away I would not be able to do that. I wear most of my clothes until they fall apart but even if I only bought replacements and didn’t added anything extra I‘d need more than three things. It might work with a massive wardrobes but not for someone like me with three pairs of trousers….

Don’t forget though that this is three new items. You can buy as many second hand things as you wish.

I did actually find a sock in the compost once: the cotton had rotted away leaving a sort of ghostly form made of nylon or something. Another reason for using natural fibres.

I've just had a look and it brought back memories of my Mum's poached chicken which was super-succulent. I'm going to have fun!

You have various options:
Cat swap
Cat dye
Black turtle neck kept in bag by the front door and put on at the very last minute before going out
Black turtle neck worn inside sleeping bag
White turtle neck and sunglasses
Cat in sleeping bag
Compromise with black turtle neck with white cat motif
Zebra-striped turtle neck - the white wouldn't show so much.

Let us know which you go for.
