Thanks everyone
@another_casualty and @savingholmes. Yes, definitely intend to go on a monthly dental plan, but will do that when I am settled in new home. For now the plan is to contact my old dentist...
@mark55man don't wait for a problem. Make it a frog to eat soon...
This morning, I crossed paths with my host for about 2 minutes. I overfilled my flask in those 2 minutes and spilt coffee as she makes me nervous! Tomorrow I will do everything kitchen related first and shower after. Yes, that should work. Arrived early at club before it opened, so had a really bad coffee in Pr3t. It is getting warmer so I can sit in the beautiful square/park and drink coffee brought from home in future. Silly to pay £2.70 for undrinkable coffee...
Last night I picked up YS bits that are part of today's salad box. I am starting to lose a little weight in the past few weeks so that's a bonus. Will call dentist today...I will.
Saw a beautiful flat but in the wrong area. Must not be swayed. Location, location, location. Thank you Kirsty.
Starting to enjoy work again since starting to come to the club
Have a good day everyone

Love Phil and kirstie 😼
Phil is the guy you could have a pint with 🍺
Glad that you are keeping level headed and making sure location is most important.
Hopefully you'll get the right place with little compromise 🤞
Keep plodding ..5 -
If I get one that's undrinkable I let them know the next time I'm in or going past. Obviously they'll say "well you should have brought it back" but that's not always possible if you are buying something to drink on your way to wherever! But you never know! You might get a voucher for another coffee on another day!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Thanks everyone
Today I asked my host to give me a break and leave me alone as I am doing my best to get everything right. This was after I did something that worked well but was a different way that she would do it. She is being much better this evening.
@savingholmes I'm doing my best to stick at it for the time being as it is convenient for my work and at the minute that is the only thing that is going right for me.
I had my coffee sitting outside in a beautiful square/park. It was peaceful and such a good way to start my day. Lots of birdsong!
Work went well and TBH it has every single day I have been to the club.
My plants are not happy in this room, not enough light, so I will take them to DS at the weekend...
The disappointment to deal with today is the flat I was due to view tomorrow went under offer yesterday. It is hard not to become attached to properties you like...so I won't be off to view anything at the weekend. I let off steam to a few friends and I'm going to move forward. Obviously it wasn't for me...I spoke to the EA and in future I need to be able to go and view a property the next day. So that is what I will do.
Tomorrow, I am taking a day off work. it will be a washing, cleaning, shopping, planning day...
I hope everyone is well.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

How gutting DIA. I can feel your disappointment. It does seem to be first up best dressed in this property market. So hard to know what to offer to with people all outbidding each other. Sounds like you've come up with a sensible way forward. Hope tomorrow is restful.

I think it was a matter of time before you had a discussion with your host . Hopefully things will be smoother for the remainder of your time there 🤞
Apart from yet another disappointment on the property search ( and the plant), everything else sounds very positive.
Hang in there, keep up the routine and at this time of year going forward more properties for sale will come up and you’ll eventually get one ..

I'm glad you've spoken to your host, hopefully she'll ease up a bit now.
I hope you find something soon with the house hunt. My relatives have been in the same situation as you, have lost a few that they loved, but have now found something that is better than the ones they lost, and exactly where they wanted. I hope the same happens for you. It's so stressful in a tough market."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
Thanks all, yes my host seems a bit easier now
@jwil I hope I end up like your relatives
So, I am away this week housesitting for my relative. It is wonderful. I feel very relaxed here.
MSE wise I paid 80% off my CC and will find the other 20% so I can clear the balance before it is due.
Despite the beautiful weather, I had a blergh day today. First, I had a froggy email that I needed to respond to. In both the local library and in a local shop I received poor service. Then in the eyebrow lady wanted to do them differently to the way I wanted. So, I will start tinting them myself and getting them waxed elsewhere!
Anyway, counselling tomorrow. I don't NEED anymore plants but no doubt I will buy one if the counselling place have any on sale. In my defence they are very reasonable
I hope everyone is ok

Plants can be a great comfort. I keep telling myself I will NOT buy any tomato plants this year as they never do well. And yet someone local has some for a great price so yes I'm considering it. As in previous years I'll probably spend £2 & get 20p worth of tomatoes. (yes I'm really that bad with them!)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
