    I'm glad you've spoken to your host, hopefully she'll ease up a bit now.

    I hope you find something soon with the house hunt.  My relatives have been in the same situation as you, have lost a few that they loved, but have now found something that is better than the ones they lost, and exactly where they wanted.  I hope the same happens for you.  It's so stressful in a tough market.

    Plants can be a great comfort.  I keep telling myself I will NOT buy any tomato plants this year as they never do well.  And yet someone local has some for a great price so yes I'm considering it.  As in previous years I'll probably spend £2 & get 20p worth of tomatoes. (yes I'm really that bad with them!)
