Great news on the PB win. Totally understand why you want to secure the roof over your head too.The tooth broke the other day so we had to go to the dentist, it wasn't related to that fall thankfully. She'd damaged it a few months ago, and it broke the other day. Dentist says he can feel the other tooth behind so hopefully it will fall out before long.
Yes, the house thing is important to me. The sooner it's fully ours the better. In the short term I want to get the mortgage to a level where either of us could mortgage on a single salary."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney5 -
I've paid my £25 to the mortgage this morning, plus an extra £5 from ebay sales. I'll send the actual prize to my LISA when it arrives in my bank account.
Not much planned for the weekend. I want to photo and list some stuff on ebay, go through the kids drawers and do their clothing. I also want to have a look at the dolls house kit we were given and see what I need to get to build it. Does anyone know what sort of glue I need to get to put furniture and stuff together? It's like balsa wood. Do I need anything special? I am the least crafty person on the planet, so I'm clueless. What sort of paint/stain etc would work for decorating it?"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney5 -
I’d be tempted to use no more nails so it’s really solid. I presume balsa is quite porous so any paint would work with a couple of coats. I bet there are all sorts of tutorials on you tube 😁 I’d love to try one.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Oh I really want to! You can’t ruin it, the worst that could happen is you’d have to paint it again. It will be lovely. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
