A PB win is a nice start to the yearIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thank you everyone
I have paid the PB win to my LISA, and have also cashed out just over £5 on PA so sent that to the mortgage.
DH has sold a load of items on ebay, again this is stuff that has been on for a while. January is turning out to be a good month for decluttering!
I took a bag of clothing to school yesterday as the school gets funds from the clothing banks there.
I had to go and pick up little jwil today as he faceplanted on the playground at school. He seems fine, just bumped and bruised. Little miss got sent home with a book yesterday about CBT for anxietyShe does over think things a lot and worries about things. I had a look through it and have ordered our own copy so that she can at least work through it and do the activities and colouring etc in the book.
DH has his unpaid day off tomorrow, so at least I can have a day off from all the running around. I do need to crack on as all the interruptions at work mean I am behind on where I need to be.
Hope everyone is well"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney7 -

DH has had his unpaid day off today, so he did the school run which was nice for a change, and he's also carried on sorting and prepping stuff for listing.
A few items sold yesterday so 5 parcels have been posted today.
I'm tired and looking forward to the weekend

I'm so glad it's the weekend, it's been a long week!
Back to swimming this weekend. I need to catch up with housework too, the house is feeling grubby. I'll visit the folks, but other than that not a lot planned.
I'm reading Silent Earth by Dave Goulson at the moment, it's about how insect life is being decimated. It's fascinating, and worrying. My garden is already a jungle and I shall now consider it a nice habitat for insects rather than a messI'm going to try and make it even friendlier and try and get a lot more insect friendly plants and flowers. I shall also get over my horror of earwigs *shudder* and remember that they do good in their own way.
I've just sold two items so that's a nice start to the weekend.
Have a good one everyone"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney6
