Jwill if you have a spare corner or bit of soil I can highly recommend the aldi wild flower box of seeds. It costs 2.50 when they sell it. We had about a metre square that I dug over and we just chucked the wildflower seeds in. We got poppies and some lovely orange, yellow, blue and tiny white flowers which in turn brought some bees and butterflies. I've no idea what they were or tbh what I was really doing but it was a nice surprise to see what grew"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney4 -
Happy Sunday
No plans today so I've been tidying around. All the bedding is in the wash, and the house is looking better. Roast pork in the oven for lunch. I've taken photos of two pairs of jeggings that I replaced with a smaller size this week (hurrah!). I'll list them on ebay and try and cover some of the costs of the new ones. I have a lot of listing to do from stuff that DH prepped as well, and the rest of the items I prepped last week.
I'd been doing very well with spending this month, I've not spent so much apart from the jeggings and a couple of books and odds and sods. Today however I have booked us 3 weekends away in Cornwall with S*n Holidays. I get the codes on here so no spends required. That will give us something to look forward to in March, May and October
Have a good day everyone"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney4 -
Well done on booking 3 breaks away, it's so nice to have something to look forward to.
We are waiting for the accountant to get back to us regarding Dh tax bill, hopefully less is owed than DH has saved and then we can book a cottage somewhere for a break in the summer.5 -

I'm coming round to thinking that maybe having a few shorter breaks spread out across the year might be better than 1 long break in the summer. I also still don't feel comfortable about travelling abroad, the thought of being on a plane makes me feel quite sick.5

I wouldn't be comfortable on a plane at the moment either. I still don't like being in enclosed spaces, but I'll have to get over it as I'm due a train trip and a theatre trip next month!beanielou said:Great to have three wee breaks to look forward toosavingholmes said:I think little and often on breaks is good"If you can dream it, you can do it". Another week of joy at work! I've got Wednesday off so can't wait for that. I've got to try and be productive tomorrow so I can complete lots of tasks around my meetings as I want to finish early on Thursday too.
I feel like I'm brewing a cold as I've had a sore throat for a couple of days. I'm testing negative on LFT, but debating on whether to do a PCR. I don't have the 'traditional' symptoms though. Maybe I will if it's still there tomorrow. No one else has a cold or anything.
I did do 8 listings yesterday, not as many as I'd hoped. A nice flurry of sales means 19 items have left the house today, yay!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney5
