If the shoes are comfortable and help with pain, thereby encouraging you to walk more, then they are definitely worth the price.
Well done in tackling your weight/health in the way that suits you.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Just a thought, I took the leather insoles out of a pair of old shoes and put them into a new pair that were slightly loose, and that worked a treat. I also put insoles into a pair of walking boots where the original insoles had flattened uncomfortably, that also worked well, extending the life of the boots. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?4

Well my expensive trainers have arrived! Left on the doorstep in full view of the road despite me being home 🙄 They didn't even bother ringing the doorbell!
They are lovely though. They feel very cushioned and supportive, and they came with two spare sets of inserts, including one orthotic one which I've put in. They say to wear them an hour or so a day for 3 days to get used to them. I'm really pleased and feel like they are the right onesThey are quite bulky but so am I
and I do feel like I have better posture wearing them. I might actually be able to start walking again!
