Not directly but the money contributes to things within the house.  If I left it to him it would never get done, so me doing it ensures it is done, and I gain space which is more valuable to me than the money!

Today I have made a start in tackling the kids room.  I don't know where all the stuff comes from!  It seems to grow.  I've pulled everything out and cleaned behind it.  I've got bags of stuff still to sort through.  Still plenty to do but I've made a start.  I also gave the bathroom a good clean as well.

My folks have offered to have the kids on Wednesday which will give me a chance to carry on.  I've got the boiler service due too that day.

Tomorrow we are meeting friends and the kids are going trampolining.  They are so excited.

We had a good day yesterday, the kids loved going to the trampoline park.  Yummy doughnuts from the local farm shop too and a good catch up with friends.

Today the kids are going out this afternoon, and I have the boiler service over lunchtime.  This morning I shall be cleaning the kitchen!  Eeek, I'd better use that radiator brush too, the cat loves to use one radiator as a seat so it is full of fur and I can't get the top off.

  • You've just reminded me to get one of those radiator brushes .
Sounds like a good day planned ahead , and nothing catastrophic to worry about 😼

Thank you, hopefully nothing catastrophic.  I should really get off my rear and do something though!
