In the short term I don't notice it (other than the balance going down) but it will be great to be completely mortgage free in 10 years. I want to maximise it while I can, because who knows what the winter will look like, and I might not be able to afford to PAD so much.

Last day of super hot weather today hopefully! I'm going to try and go out in the garden for a bit before it gets too hot. Not much else planned otherwise. We've done a bit more in the garden this morning. DH actually helped! We are trying to set up a couple of water butts ready to (hopefully!) catch some rain if we manage to be lucky enough to get some this week. If we get some torrential rain it would be good to try and capture some of it.
I've also cleaned the windows in the front room and have done 10 listings for DH and 1 for me. I've reset up my work desk in preparation for tomorrow. Started up my laptop to make sure any updates are done so that I don't have to keep getting interrupted to restart tomorrow."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Back to work today
Not too bad a day considering though. I did nip out and return my old laptop too so at least that's out of the house now.
It's raining!! It's so lovely to see. I can't remember when we last had some decent rain! Hopefully a nice bit will be going into the water butts. Cooler today as well thankfully, though still muggy."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
