    Well done on the PADs

Good to have rain. Weird the world is having so many crises at once with drought etc.

    Thank you :)

It's terrifying really isn't it.  This is climate change in action, the world is simultaneously on fire or flooding and still the Govts (around the world!) don't act, and so many people are still in denial that it's real or consider it some distant problem that won't affect us.  I really worry what it's going to be like when the kids grow up.

I've had a fairly productive day today, I'm very pleased.  It helps when everyone else is on leave :D:D

It's been chucking it down this evening so hopefully the water butts will be filling.

I've bought myself a lunch bag for when I go into the office.  My lunchbox sometimes leaks so I wanted something to keep it secure in my rucksack.  I could use a carrier bag, but this is at least insulated so should keep things cooler.

Glad you are getting back in the flow of work. It is oddly motivating when others are away. You can tick items off your list without being constantly swamped by new ones.

It's great isn't it.  No constant stream of emails, phone calls and meetings.  I can get stuck in without the constant interruptions.  It makes the day so much more enjoyable as I feel like I've achieved something.

Another fairly productive day today.  Tomorrow's going to be horrible as I've got back to back and even overlapping meetings!

A colleague has gone off for personal reasons which obviously is awful for them, but means I'm going to have to pick up a lot of the work.

I could do with going into the office next week for the peace as DH is home as well.  But we are moving offices next week which coincides with the two days I am meant to be in, so I can't.  Hopefully he'll take the kids out.

I've booked a window and gutter clean for next Monday.  The windows haven't been done here for god knows how long (apart from my own attempts), they'll probably all fall out :D:D   My electricity bill will probably halve with all the extra light :D

I love clean windows. They make such a difference to the feel of a house  :)
