    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Does anyone else that does Shop & Scan ever feel tempted to send them a random photograph at the same time as your till receipts to cheer them up? Or is that just me 🤣?

The last photo I took was a selfie of me posing with a bag of frozen broccoli to send to my Mum (first time they've had it in Lidl for at least 3 months, so I pounced - didn't even need it right now 🤣!). It's food-shopping-related, surely they'd like to see that 🤷‍♀️🤣🤷‍♀️???

Sorry SC, I’m probably not in good enough standing to risk a photo that’s not of a receipt - they’re often lucky to get one at all!

What couldn’t you get? Or was it more a case of what you could get?

Er, off the top of my head, chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, frozen mushrooms, deodorant, errr "ladies' feminine hygiene products". Frozen broccoli already sold out again. Sainsbury's went weeks without any courgettes. I went to two Lidl's and an Asda today and no-one had any chopped tomatoes, so I need to try Sainsbury's tomorrow. I'm just fed up with it!!! Visiting multiple supermarkets to try and get a week's shop in is not how I want to spend my only two days off 🙁!
