I could tell what it was meant to be, don't worry. If you're still keeping up with last years goals then that means they've stuck and it took all year to get there so don't be too hard on yourself for not being on top of everything yet this year 👍Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20175

Glad to read you're doing well - amazing work on all the charity donations!
Pastries are definitely challenging - which new recipe you trying next?4 -
Thanks, Ruby 😀
Hi kaycastle, I've been wondering how you were getting on! No idea for this month's recipe, haven't thought that far ahead yet!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I think that keeping up with the doctors is an every year goal.
Seems like you've done really well for a February!4 -
Thanks KP 😀
Right, it's time....
First of the month round-up....
Movement during February 2022: +£2794.07
Money needed as at 1 March 2022: £269,449.68
This is not the good result that the headline figure would make it seem!!! So, 63% of this month's pay has gone into the pot, along with the usual pension contribution, along with about £160 in dribs and drabs during the course of February, plus I have spent £1500 of the refurb budget (thus reducing the "needed" figure); yet the pensions and ISA continue to drop in value so they're all worth less and the increase is less than it should have been. Never mind, we march on!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I have missed it but am terrible so I am not going to read back. What was the refurb expenditure?4
-
You haven't missed it KP, I haven't mentioned it (been wittering about it too much in real life 🤣)! Suffice to say it was something which was needed and necessary, but not at all exciting!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Hmmm, have spent more of the refurb fund (again, totally necessary and needed), but forgot I would be spending this when I decided to put money into the ISA on payday. Now need to work out how I clear it off the credit card while still managing to hit the target of having £4k ready to go into the LISA after this month's payday 🤔 Am almost certain it's not possible to do both, as even raiding other pots is going to leave me short!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Have paid the balance off the credit card from the LISA savings so I'm not stressing about that. Now just trying to work out how I can find £2195 by 06/04.
Answer: I can't 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Saw this on my app the other day - Mr T doesn't do the same info as Mr S - but it wasn't a surprise in this house that our biggest volume purchase was semi skimmed milk 😄I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £204
