There's no shame in buying expensive things assuming you can afford them, especially if your main hobby is your home and decorating and such. The problems start when you can afford it and you won't compromise on anything.

Tell them you dream every night of being given a million pounds, just in case they do a follow up survey seeing how people react to dreams becoming reality
