I really like the level of drivel on many of my favourite mfw threads. The minutiae of life from Lidl receipts, gardening, rude bosses to mice, cashback and recipes (& weird survey questions)
So please ‘drivel ‘ awayDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Oh, don’t get me wrong, LaPlan, I love the drivel and post plenty myself - but that’s what it is! I can’t imagine having to read it all for a job! 😂Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

I dunno, there are some pretty terrible jobs out there.
(I also like the drivel, I remember once reading about a woman wanting to buy a £37 ish washing up bowl years ago. This is how much I love reading people's lives, I remember them lol)7 -

I was so gutted when she stopped posting. I don't know why you would post on a public forum if you weren't open to feedback. But I guess everyone has their limits and she hit hers.5 -
£37 for a washing up bowl 😳! I had no idea such things existed! I think the last one I bought was from Poundland (in the days when everything was £1), but I find them too annoying so always wash up direct in the sinkMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
