I am remembering you dreaming about a neighbour masterfully steering his ride on mower - I may never forget that - we don’t have ride on mowers in central london sadly as they would be a great addition to the trafficSouth_coast said:
Hmmm, not seen that Ed. I've been very slack on Prolific lately, but just checked and they have a survey running asking me to report on my dreams - should probably give that one a miss, knowing what my dreams are like 😮!edinburgher said:Yuck! Prolific seem to have increased minimum cash out to £6 - what was wrong with a fiver? On the £37 washing up bowl I did fall in lust with a Joseph Joseph one with a moveable plug in the bottom with a matching dish cutlery pot - my neighbour had it - and I discovered one reduced in TK maxx but as a fellow hater of using washing up bowls I resisted … if I started listing the things I have managed to say no to my diary would even more drivel filled than it is (it’s currently all about EA shenanigans)
@themadvix I don’t take it wrong - we are all minutiae fiends here
DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Currently got 20p available and £1.35 to comeSouth_coast said:I've just requested 32p from TopCashBack, which leaves with me £0.00 confirmed and £0.00 pending. I don't think I've ever had nothing at all in my account since I first set it up - I'm clearly not shopping enough 🤔!

I made up for it last night, Ed, by ordering a mascara from Argos (using a voucher from Consumer Pulse so it was free, obvs) 😀 Not tracked yet though 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
