Rightmove have emailed me details of a pretty-well ideal flat in seaside bolthole town this week 🙁 It's a little studio, offers over £80k, could easily improve the usability of the kitchen and lounge/bedroom by closing off the archway between the two (both have doors to the hall, so would create a lot more wall to put furniture against), good area, on-street parking, nice park down the road, 5 mins walk to the seafront, 5 mins walk to the town centre.
I'm going to turn off the search 😥 I can't afford to do that and "the other thing", and "the other thing" is much more important. It's also probably juuust slightly too far away to make it feasible as a weekend retreat - but it feels better to blame "the other thing"!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

In other news, my Prolific logjam appears to have cleared, and I now only have £3.55 pending (was over £20 at one point 😳!) And I spent a good 15 minutes debating with myself whether a bit of faffing was worth £6.50. Eventually decided it was, but it was a close-run thing!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

2p interest received on my "My next £50" pot 😀
Except I usually try and keep that as a round number, and by sheer fluke my "Petrol" "Personal" and "Groceries" pots are also all at round numbers - so where do I pinch the 98p from 🤔🤔🤔?Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

(Kind of wish I hadn't posted that now, so I could stick it up by my desk at work without revealing my secret MFW identity - probably not very professional though 🤣! We will keep it here to amuse ourselves with instead 😀!)Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
