    I'm in!

    First of the month round-up....

    A very positive month!

    * I acknowledged and embraced (maybe - definitely acknowledged) the existence of "the other thing" and the likely impact on my finances
    * I've earned a cracking £105.72 from surveys 😮 plus £9.70 from TopCashBack, £29.46 from ZipZero and an £89.60 tax rebate 😀
    * I've re-jigged my targets for money for retirement and "the other thing" and worked out how long it's going to take me to get there
    * £1000 of Govt LISA bonus has arrived
    * My various cash savings balances (LISA/easy access/fixed rate ISA) are earning me interest of c£100/month, for absolutely no input from me - which is much more than my pensions and S&S are doing right now!
    * No extra £50s this month, working on that pesky £315.72 for next year's LISA, but getting there

    13.82 years to go....

    Hope you didn't lose out on too much, mine refused to submit a 20 minute survey and marked it as returned, but on the flip side a different survey couldn't track participants to their surveys and paid out a full bonus to everyone when I definitely did poorly at the tasks.

    Both new cards have arrived today, so both now activated and direct debits set up for the minimum payments. One app up and running, the another is doing a very annoying ID check which isn't working, so I'll have another go at that tomorrow, when I'll hopefully be slightly less annoyed and therefore potentially look a bit more like my driving licence!

    I could also try using my passport (issued last year) as opposed to my driving licence (needs renewing this year) - but I refuse to accept I might have aged that much that I'm unrecognisable, and much prefer to blame the dim lighting in my lounge 🤣!
