Correction, Internet thinks it's 40-50l - that's a bit vague!2 -

That's a good price for petrol. I'm another one who's confused by the size of their petrol tank - supposed to be 45L but there's been a few times I've managed to get a lot more in than that...🤷♀️Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20173

Fuel tanks are funny shapes and capacities and the official value will be a nice rounded down number. It also excludes the filler neck capacity. You don't really need to know the capacity of your tank, just stop pumping on the first "click" and you'll be ok. Overfilling isn't recommended, that spare capacity allows for expansion.4

Ahhh, I never knew that about space for expansion (makes perfect sense though). I tend to go to the next round £ after the click (although I have been known to ram another £1 - or two - in if I go a penny over. May have to be less *nal about it in future if it means I won't explode 🤣!)Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Well, Austerity April is going spiffingly so far! After starting the month with £48.36 after clearing my credit card balance, I'm currently on £51.52 (and that's after spending £10 on something for work) 😀😀😀! I've also managed to pick off a couple of things from my "to buy" list at no cost: kitchen scales and night cream from Argos, using vouchers from Consumer Pulse and Shop & Scan (who knew Argos sold moisturiser 🤷♀️?); and spirulina from Amazon, again with vouchers earned from Shop & Scan. I've also sent £22.39 to my electricity account from ZipZero!I'm looking forward to Marvellous May now....😀!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
