Wow, 64 pages already! Will skim back over but in the meantime happy to report a little progress. Box of empty DVD cases I have tried to freecycle, Olio, FB marketplace etc for free have gone to landfill. Sad to do it (black plastic can't be recycled here) but I have tried everything I could to rehome them.
Box of bits and bobs off to a friend to use for fundraising for her animal rescue. Photo frame given to a neighbour.
Loads of cardboard will be used to start a bonfire this weekend as we have loads of hedge clippings (would take lots of trips to the dump) to burn.
Feeling good for making a start!12 -
Yay! just found my notebook - haven't got stressed about it but concerned, but have just been filing papers and found it with a number of blank notebooks I tidied away on a shelf... only looked there as I have also tidied away my book club book which I haven't started reading!
Adding 2 for filing, and pulling out pages from another more rough spiral bound notebook!
110 and hoping to do more filing and getting things ready to do tax at the weekend!

Hello, sorry I can’t keep up with the thread… it seems to be a full time job and I already have one of those to pay the bills!Cleaned and tidied some of the kitchen. Started sorting through my vast tea collection, discovered recently that some cold brew teabags aggravate my asthma so debated what to do with those… then decided if I empty the plastic pots they come in, it will be perfect for my loose leaf tea…. So stickers removed and 4 different teas rehomed instead of the paper pouches they come in, now I can see exactly when I need to think about buying more of those preferred teas. Also went through some of the other teas, binned some that were older teas even before covid, and have picked out 4 (not the ones rehomed but four others - I said the collection was vast!) and have started working my way though them to see if they are worthy of the space they take up.
so far, one binned (just a bit bland even after a 3 min brew) and the other stays for now as it’s nicer. Also binned some random sample/gift teabags that I won’t drink but used to keep for “Justin” or for visitors…. Back when we used to have those
Went through a bundle of receipts and delivery notes etc (hidden in serious places) and put aside the ones I may need and put the rest in a pile for shredding.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?12 -
I had a work meeting this evening. The work I needed to complete afterwards was assisted by me decluttering a whole bag of Cadbury's mini eggs. In January. I am doomed.
Put the new on street parking permit in my little car and threw away the old one, also took latest stash of soft plastic packaging to Tesco recycling.

I think everybody's had times when a bag gets used as a swift tidy up and the contents aren't dealt with
I think looking at everything in the unit, my room and the conservatory I do it at least once a month for the last 20 years 🙈😱
Looked in box number 3 today, 82 children's books! I've kept a couple of the children's favourites ready for GD1 but I have no idea what to do with the other 68! They really aren't any good, some probably 30-40years old but throwing books in the bin just feels wrong, even with ripped pages and covered in scribbles. Not adding them until they are out of the house.
Box 4 to tackle tomorrow
Did drawer 1 of dd2s. All her underware, now nice and neat in little organisers and just 3 pairs of socks to the bin.
I have had a couple of deliveries last few days bit instead of putting the boxes in the conservatory for address removal and forgetting, I've done them straight away and straight into recycle bin.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks.
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedThursday I finally dealt with the frog that was sorting my kitchen freezer. Took out each drawer & dealt with separately - managed to throw out a dozen pots + moved a few items to the garage freezer. There is now wiggle room but the kitchen freezer desperately needs defrosting ☹️ So need to try harder to empty 😉 2 more small tasks done but will have to do 7 tasks on Friday. DH & DSis had the 2nd half of their Chinese. I had baked beans & roasted tomatoes (from the freezer) on toast with a couple of fried eggs on top. Wudupa.
