A very profitable day today at work…..I deleted or filed the best part of 1000 emails. My emails aren’t normally that bad however I seem to have had an avalanche of them recently and not had the opportunity to deal with them properly.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

A couple of books for the CS and more frogs dealt with. Mission Control a complete mess again. I need to get the office type chair checked to see if it is safe to use (some bits of brittle plastic fell off when dsis cleaned it but I don’t know where they came from) so I can move papers back into the desk rather than them being spread all over the breakfast bar.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅11

@oceanspirit hope the chair is safe, its staggering how quickly things get in a muddle - for me anyway. Found a new sensible place for the parcel tape... could I find it now... no despite looking in about 4 or 5 sensible placed. Unsubscribed from an email which keeps reappearing. Think I also unscubsribed from a couple over the weekend.

Today was our last Board Meeting of the year for the Friends of the Library. I put out an appeal for help in the inside book store at our library. There were two people keeping it stocked and taking care to sort the incoming books (we got over a thousand books donated in the last two weeks alone). But one of them died unexpected two weeks ago (went to bed and didn't wake up in the morning, no explanation yet. The other has just found out she has Covid. She gets out of quarantine on the 7th - so we are going to be trying to keep up with it for the next couple of weeks as she will need help when she comes back. Several board members have volunteered to come in and help sort so I will be at the library almost everyday - two weeks for the book store and then the next week for our last book sale of the year. We have raised over $4000 already this year just on the book sales and over $8500 on the indoor book store which is run on the honor system and open whenever the library is. We are very proud of our library which has won several national awards recently. There are 8 branch libraries whose Summer Reading program we pay for.
Trying to ignore the roommates' complaints about each other. I will get through this year - I am very determined to get things done especially in our kitchen. I want to be able to bake cookies in it again.12 -
So although not updating since the end of April, I have still been sorting and shredding the Attic paperwork. Pleased to report that the total shredded has now reached 510 items so original goal of 500 achieved!
Many thanks to you, Mrs SD, for running this thread, as it was knowing that I had posted a goal on here that kept me at it.
Wishing continuing progress and success to everyone on the sorting and simplifying journey12 -
Morning all xx
Inclined to beat myself up because nothing left the house yesterday.
Ermmm. Excuse Me!
Pizza box - bin
Pop cans - recycled
Book - finished to go to Babs
Wrappers from birthday cards written- bin
And I sorted out the contents of my handbag and binned the rubbish that was in there.
So shut up inner critic.
Every little helps after all.
And I am supposed to be resting in TLC carriage. Seems to be quite a few of us in there, or heading that way, Hugs to all.

Three bags given to L to pass to her sister for thrift shop.
That's all the stuff previously sorted for cs / church out of the house.
That feels good 😊

I was watching a YouTuber doing some decluttering of her wardrobe last night so it inspired me. I cleaned the insides of our wardrobes and went through my stuff. I don't know how they get so dusty inside. I noticed how grey my black skirt is when I was away in Cardiff. I was wearing a new black top and it showed up how faded it was. I am using that and a dress with a hole in it as cat blankets until they can be binned.
I am donating a black trench coat as it was slightly too small and I thought I might lose weight to fit into it but that hasn't happened! I also have a teddy bear to donate that I bought for my dog but realised it has beads in it. I am about to go through my bag collection as I only seem to wear the same one or two.10 -

Waiting for the washing machine repairers to rebook yesterday's failed appointment. Ah well, at least that corner is clear...‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
