2022 DECLUTTERING CAMPAIGN MrsSD

While I was upstairs I took Action Man from RoD and put him in the bag with his mates, his jeep and, if I remember correctly, his motorbike, in RoD2.
Brought down a handful of bits and bobs to sort from RoD.
The books I'm keeping have been living on the coffee table but they are now on a shelf in the wall unit as the notebooks that I'm keeping fit in the cupboard that I just about emptied. Are you still with me? 😊
I don't remember who said their decluttering was inconsistent and haphazard but I'm right there with you sister. It all needs doing so does it matter if it's not methodical! My brain is screaming 'YES' 😱 Shut up brain....go to sleep until all the 'dots' join up....which they will....eventually!
I've put out the recycling. Ooops is that an empty Selection Box? 😳. Whistling nonchalantly and sidling out of the room.....

Fantastic dolls house @Siebrie. Your dad was very talented
Well said @daisy_1571
Big hugs @EnergyShifter
The weather has been awful here over the last few days. 100% rain yesterday. Managed to meet with some friends for lunch and tea. DH was away all day at a rare meeting in Birmingham so I had the house to myself.
In between going out I vacuumed and mopped the floors over the whole of the downstairs and the bathrooms got a mop too. Also cleared the floor in my bedroom and vacuumed. Located the Christmas bags, cards and wrapping that I put store under the bed as I need it before the Xmas decs which are in the loft. MiL wanted some wrapping so I took that round.
While it isn't raining I am going to nip over the allotment as I haven't been there since before my hols. Even if I get half an hour of weeding or planting done that will be good.
Lots of small jobs for today and I hope a bag to the CS.

roundtuit said:There are 5 cases of singles sat in the living room - and I'm keeping them - but they can be relocated to a RoD for now.
Dear All: keeping records in the loft is generally not a good move unless it stays the same temperature and humidity all year. The heat warps the records and the humidity will ruin the sleeves. So, if they're your nest egg, get them in a room with fairly consistent temperature. Rant over!‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Third pile of books that were in LR floor sorted:
8 books - cs
Just a little concerning that the bottom book in the pile smells a bit damp 🤔 I've felt the laminate floor where the book was sat but it's dry.
I've noticed there's a pile of books on a kitchen chair so I'll go through that next.

Second box of singles taken upstairs - it contained ABBA to Commodores. First box that went up contained Lesley Gore to Keith Michell....and I now have Captain Beaky going round my head 🤣
I brought down 2 cardboard wallets from RoD. First one is empty - to take to work (I'm going to need an artic to take everything to work at this rate 😅)
Second wallet - contents removed.
Ha! So that's where all my exam certificates were: O levels, A levels, GCSEs. Together with an ancient CV (before DS was born) and a reference from 1986. Keeping them. Wallet can go to work.

7-9 Used up beauty products recycling.
10-30 Outgrown Clothes to friends grandson.
30 - Returned Ss's coat and exhanged
31-32 B'day present using stocks and recycled wrapping paper and parcel to post.
33-bag of soft plastics - recycled.
34-36 - 3 loads of washing on line.
37 - Finally got my hair done cut and coloured.
38 - Accidentially defrosted freezer (all sorted, back on and using up as much food as possible).
39 - 80 - Books and toys donated for Church Christmas fair. Hopefully don't buy any back tomorrow!
81- advert calendar packaging recycled. Treated myself and wanted to use the products.
Off to catch up on the thread.9 -
Still carrying on at what feels like a glacial pace.
4653-4658: 5 GB data and 50 emails deleted.
4659-4694: 16 items to recycling (including a notebook I bought 13 years ago!), rest to bin.
I've mentioned to a couple of local people that my pink Xmas tree is available free to a good home, will take it to the charity shop if they don't want it.
