Congratulations on your celebrations nanny w. Time celebrating is worth far more than decluttering.Green bin has been emptied and I have just swept up leaves and filled it again.I took a photo on my way home this evening. My house is on the far right by the wood in the distance. I promised an autumn pic but it is forecast rain for the foreseeable future.Still using up craft stash and toiletries. I will have to buy new moisturiser soon. How exciting!

5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Tuesday was a dry overcast day & quite warm. DH went out to pick up train tickets & time the 1st leg of our journey (DLR & tube to Liverpool Street Station)
I did precisely nothing apart from clear down programmes from TV planner, make dinner - breadcrumbed veal escalopes, boiled hg potatoes, broccoli & carrots 😋 Wudupa.
Wednesday has started dry & quite bright if a tad breezy & now the sun has come out 🙂 Whilst putting an item away I discovered the booking folder for our cancelled 2020 holiday 😱 - documents shredded & folder recycled 🙂 DH has just left with DSis (who is feeling unwell) on the bike - she is trying to find a top for Friday 🤞 & DH will do the weekly shop. He is out tonight - meeting up with ex work colleagues.
1802 - 1805 Kitchen recycling, cardboard pot, drinks cans, folder - recycled
1806 - 1808 Kitchen detritus, uu sponge scourer, shredding - binned
What a lovely surprise Deni_debt-free_dreamer. Great decluttering 👏
You are welcome roundtuit 🙂 I do keep a record 😉 You now have 2 medals & 3 Gold Stars. The 1st medal was for giving the gas fitter easy access to your boiler 😆 Surely that should be Aunt Sally as your work persona 😉
Great work GrannyKate 👏
Excellent decluttering grandmanerd, you have been busy 👏 Now you just have to persuade DS3 to get dressed 😂 I was so pleased for you when I read the paragraph “I had one proper letter. The DWP has capitulated. I asked for mandatory reconsideration of their decision (intermediate step before appealing) not to award me PIP for my mobility needs (I spent an hour documenting every stage of my epic trek across the car park with measurements and timings, a couple of hours putting all my info into a coherent order and then half an hour on the phone). They have reconsidered, accepted that I can walk less than 20 yards and I get the higher amount for mobility )all 12 points) and it's backdated to April (when I applied)” Shame you had to wait so long 😔 but such a relief that you can now plan your budget 😮💨 You are really on a roll - decluttering, tidying, cleaning. In fact you have worked so hard & been so busy that I am awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️ You are definitely more positive as you now know that although there are mountains to climb it is doable 👏🙂
You are still doing more than me 2Scratters 😉 which led me to putting something away & finding almost 3 year old documentation which has been dealt with 😉 Good luck with the sales 🍀
What good use of your insomnia Wednesday2000 👏
Sorry to hear that your Minister is moving on, Siebrie 🙁 I will bet that you put your container of cards in a safe place 😉
Excellent decluttering short_bird especially the emails 👏
nannywindow, great work keeping up with the daily decluttering despite RL getting in the way 👏Belated good wishes for your anniversary & your Dad’s 93rd birthday 🎉 Maybe your planner is like mine - deleted programmes stay on the planner for 2 months before vanishing completely. However I still have the option to delete permanently prior to 2 months. Nothing wrong with plodding on - remember we are running a marathon 😉
Good work vulpix 👏 The photo was worth waiting for 😊
Great decluttering 2Scratters especially giving items to DS 👏 Do you get paid weekly or monthly?

Managed to get on holiday in the end as DD recovered in time, but I’ve felt a bit dodgy most the holiday as I think she gave it to me. Meant I was cheap to feed at least I guess…
Anyway, got back and cooked dinner from the freezer without resorting to temptation and a takeaway, unpacked and put everything away, did a load of washing that is now drying in the bathroom and picked up some free books from the local buy nothing site.
I’m not back at work until Monday so am hoping to be able to blitz some of DS’s room with him to keep on top of the general junk he seems to collect (like sticks, stones, acorns and other random things). I want to go through all DD’s and DS’s stuff before Xmas when they get more junk in!
After being on holiday I get the usual cluttered feeling when I get back home, so will be using that feeling over the next week (how long it usually lasts) to find more bits and bobs to get rid of. I might even end up with a tidy house eventually….
I’ve also been working on my inbox and reduced it from 500 emails to 300. I can’t do too much in one go as it’s so dull!

I've been pretty busy with work for the last few days so haven't had much time to do anything else other than go to my course last night. I have got really fed up with working from the living room - I'm in there all day for work then relaxing there in the eve. Trouble is at the moment the only other place my computer can go is my bedroom. I know the received wisdom is not to work from your bedroom but I generally only use it to sleep in and it feels like it is underused when the living room is overused. I might try moving things around as an experiment but this involves lugging the desk upstairs and I can already feel myself talking myself out of it!
When I post again later I will either have done a major reconfiguration of my home or be lying on the sofa tired out from overthinking

904. Put notice on a stray bin that's been outside house for 2 weeks. Hoping that it'll be reclaimed.
Bit-by-Bit - I hope your poor GS feels better soon
Vupix - Stunning photo!
