Today has been a clean and tidy kind of day, between work stress and heat the house had gone completely to pot. Out - 2 bottles of sauce, one had gone mouldy, one was BBE 2018 and had gone rather grey 🤢
I have also moved all the open sauces to the front of the cupboard - condiments is my next target for working through then only getting what we need/ will actually use.
Also out some old sprouting potatoes. No space to plant them and try to grow some new ones. In is a bowl to hold potatoes, should hopefully stop them going mouldy in plastic and will mean they are visible so hopefully used more.
In is a stand mixer, the Aldi own brand which was on sale. I have started baking more regularly to use up the masses is baking ingredients we have, but have to balance that with losing weight. Have had a bit of a stall these past couple of weeks, but am currently down 5kg 🥳 now I just need to continue decluttering the weight!
Hugs to people who are currently struggling, I have been reading along and hope things pick up.
Very much looking forward to decluttering this heat tomorrow hopefully!10 -
Had a rummage through some crafting bits and added some to the charity bag. Also found a half finished bobble hat however I have lost track of which row I’m on so that will be frogged and started from scratch. That will be when it’s much cooler though……I’ve also found two huge balls of yarn. I need to work out what I’m making with that.Yesterday was a tidying day and found some nail polish in colours I’m unlikely to use again. They’ll go of to charity.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Does skin count, as decluttered quite a lot after an accident with the new pony? Got bruises a Maori warrior would be proud to have as tattoos too.
DS came to sort out 'stuff' left after he moved out 3 yrs ago.. 2 bin bags of junk . Masses of books and puzzles going to community library. Various games to lovely neighbour for the grandkids when they come to stay
Runner beans, courgettes and toms to various neighbours. Seems a good year for them, but the poor old pear tree has reaaly steruggled. If ther are 4 on it I have probably miscounted. Last year it was like turkey at Xmas. SOOO many everyone was fed up of them!!

I have just seen lightening in a cloudless sky. I have never seen this before. The stars are twinkling and suddenly a great streak of lightening.9

Mehefin I think pears produce alternate years, you will probably get a good crop next year.
Have spent Sunday getting rid of new carpet fluff & rehanging curtains. I also acquired a new smsll cupboard for the hall and will be moving the old dresser to the bin shed for storage.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I'm doing a quick declutter of our wardrobes as I realised two dresses I had been keeping for an "occasion" still don't fit over my boobs! They are both quite nice so they will be donated.
I went through my fridge and freezer last night too.:)

@mehefin, I think a lot of people are struggling with fruit trees this year. My sister has a plumb tree that was weighed down last year but not a single one this year and my neighbour has an apple tree and a pear tree that are usually full of fruit by now but I think she has only 1 apple. All these trees did have blossom but I think it's possible we had strong winds and rain about that time and I think the blossom was knocked off the tree before it had a chance to set fruit.
Take care everyone9
