It must be the week for haircuts because I had mine done cut today too. As I had about 8ins cut off (it's still shoulder length) I'm going to count that as my decluttering for today 😁
Hugs to the poorly ones and anyone having difficulties.

Cleaned up the bottles the dog used as toys (will give her more), found the stash other female roommate had by her chair, and put that in bag, and then two roommates took the bags in to the recycling center - filled the car inside and the trunk. Got rid of 150 old floppy disks (took them apart). Still have a few more to go. Went to the library, taking a bag of books and DVDs to give for the book sale, and sorted then more books onto the shelves for the next book sale - trying to to it a little at a time now (about two hours three days a week). Have two boxes of books in Vietnamese to go to a local church tomorrow, plus two boxes of books for their minister. She takes out what she wants and then passes them along to other ministers and students. Getting a couple of boxes of extra food to go to the Vietnamese Church tomorrow also as they have a food bank there. Plus they have a new part-time minister who needs food help for his family. After the boxes are dropped off at the church, tomorrow will be genealogy day - work at two different family history centers. Doing English research at the first one and Mexican research later that evening. The person I am helping with the research in England takes me out for lunch afterward.14

Ashamed to say that I didn’t go shopping - just stayed indoors in the warm. Although I did sort today’s post immediately 😉 My lunch was the last of the hm soup. Dinner was improvised (as I hadn’t taken anything out of the freezer or gone shopping) - omelettes with the last of the mushrooms, last of the cheese, a couple of rashers of bacon & some peppers. Yummy 🤤 Wudupa. Vegetable box contained 7 potatoes, a lettuce, a cabbage, a fennel, 6 purple carrots, 2 leeks, 2 red peppers & 4 avocados - I see guacamole in our future 😉 Everything stored appropriately & menu plan updated.

Revised target - pleased if I can empty dishwasher and everyday things and move light items from rooms to be decorated. Aching in New places so being v gentle with myself.
Will continue reading great work on the EDT and hope people making use of the TLC carriage. I am heading there:)12 -
TC77 do you mind if I join you in the TLC carriage ? I'm glad you have a f2f appointment with your GP.
I have only decluttered my sm shopping into the freezer and fridge today, I still have to do the dry goods but that can wait till later as I have had a painful hip since yesterday and not even resting it overnight has helped. Walking around the sm this morning hasn't done it any favours either so I think I'll go back to online shopping as it takes away all the heavy lifting in and out of the car and the carrying of it up the steps. Another bonus is it won't involve DH as I do it myself so he isn't able to put extra things in the trolley 😠. Now I'm heading for the TLC carriage too for a few hours of putting my feet up. I hope there's plenty of tea and cakes left 🍰 😋 Hugs to those already in there or in need.
Take care all

A bit more sneaky decluttering squeezed in yesterday:
170 - a huge box
171- packaging (used for buy nothing stuff)
172 - newspaper puzzles completed and recycled
173-215 - computer bookmarks deleted
Lots of stuff picked up from my house from the buy nothing group. My room is looking so much better already. I was very pleased when I saw someone asking for a big cardboard box - I leapt on that right away and they took it away an hour later! Saved me the job of having to cut it up to put into the recycling. A brilliant win!
Need to get back to the email sorting as I’m over 200 in my inbox again.. maybe I’ll get it down to 0 in May 🤞

Thursday was a mainly dull overcast day & rather cold although I resisted the urge to put the heating on 🙂 DSis went shopping. DH was busy (still suffering a bit from tingling, itching & pain 😩 ) - he strummed a bit more of the back garden, filled all the bird & squirrel feeders, zizzed two carrier bags of vegetable peelings & fed the worms & also set up my new iPad. Took 3 attempts before it was up & running 😔 I had yet another lazy day - transposed a few more recipes to notebook, dealt with today’s post, watered the rhubarb & rosemary, made dinner (pork steaks, mash & cabbage) & wudupa.
726 - 732 Kitchen recycling, 2 newspapers, paper packaging, cardboard packaging, drinks cans, cardboard box - recycled
733 - 734 Kitchen detritus, plastic packaging - binned
Sorry to hear that you have new aches & pains TC77 ☹️ Hopefully some time in the TLC Carriage will help you recover 😊
Sorry to hear about the hip nannywindow ☹️ Enjoy your well deserved visit to the TLC Carriage - tea, triangle sandwiches (crusts cut off to feed the birds 😉) & plenty of hm cake. There is also an area serving cocktails & mocktails 😂 with a few nibbles. Handsome/beautiful & skilled staff are also available for shoulder, neck & head massages. My personal favourite being the hand massage & treatment 🙂 I am afraid that the two massage chairs are fully booked until the end of May 😉😉
Excellent decluttering QueenJess 👏 especially the computer bookmarks 🙂
Do you have to read all your emails TC77? or can swathes of them be deleted with just a quick scan?

Managed everything on my to-do list today. Even had a 15 minute cuddle with a cat. Came home from afternoon volunteer job to find that male roommate had cleaned up most of the back yard. Haven't checked all of it yet but the dog is loving all of the extra space to run. It was a major job (he has been promising for over 5 years to clean it up!) Most of it was weeds, stuff his daughter left out there, and things his dog tore up, but I was amazed to see he actually did it. Tomorrow is Frog Friday. Have my list ready.11

Still feeling the effects of my argument with a wardrobe but a lot better. Thanks for kind thoughts.
