  • I have been to the same fabulous hairdresser For many years and he gives me quite a decent discount so feel v lucky and glad you had a fun experience

    That tooth sounds like it needs the work asap  - I assume daily swilling with salt water and flossing where possible is happening ? You can also swill with soluble aspirin etc
    That brain doctor said that gum infections affect your brain health, functioning and positivity levels - so he is an extreme flosser
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
    No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

    Not doing daily swilling - I was told it would take a long time to settle down and to just treat as normal, but given that it's now been over six months, it needs seeing to properly again 🙄

    Managed to rearrange the initial consultation for Monday (rather than the end of Jan) so that's good

    So, Mr Cheery has gone on his own, and I am ploughing through my list

    MORNING: PLOTTING AND SCHEMING

    ✅ try to rearrange endodontist
    ✅ compost out
    ✅ check LPG tank gauge and update online
    ✅ cafe breakfast
    ✅ meal plan
    ✅ check where I'm up to with Christmas presents
    * text friend - she offered us dinner but has double booked and we can't do new date

    AFTERNOON: BUYING AND DOING

    * buy as many remaining presents as possible
    ✅ food shopping
    * wash spare room bedding
    * flylady tidy round podcast
    * hang bedding up

    EVENING: POTTERING AND HANGING OUT
    * batch cooking for weekend
    * possibly get Christmas stuff out of loft (but I might wait til Mr Cheery is here rather than just dropping it out of the loft hatch 😂)
    * check banks
    * write out steps for next switch (but not doing anything til it's daylight)
    * flute practice

    Have picked up a few presents in the shop near the cafe, and have come into town to tackle the rest of the list. Wish me luck!!
