I’m absolutely certain you didn’t pass any form of lurgy in my direction Cheery, so no worrying about that! Whatever it is you caught really has knocked you for six though hasn’t it - I’m glad it feels as though you are at least a bit on the mend now. Your precautions about taking it easy for the next few days sound very sensible indeed though - you definitely want to be fit and well for that trip!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Good to hear you're not poorly, gives me hope for everyone I was in contact with at our event 😕 Yes, it came on really quickly - started with a bit of a tickly cough on the train about 6pm, and by 8.30 I was in bed feeling extremely sorry for myself indeed 😕😂
Two whole days in bed as well!! Very unlike me. I've managed to crawl out for a bath both days, but that's it.
Currently post-bath and waiting for a pizza to come out of the oven. Dont even know if I want it. All I've eaten today is half a bowl of bran flakes (and those 4 chocolate buttons 😂) so I do feel like I should eat something else, but I've not fancied anything til I saw someone with a slice of pizza on the TV 😂 Let's see if I can eat it when it's done.
Had a gap between tablets today to see if I was feeling better, but ended up all feverish and grim again, so apparently not 🙄 Going to attempt to get dressed tomorrow morning i think - well, again, we'll see when I get there, but it might be nice to sit somewhere other than bed for a while (although I confess I've taken to bed quite naturally 😂)7 -
That’s sounds like one heck of a bug! In fact it sounds like ….. MANFLU!!! Needs to be taken VERY seriously indeed. One of my colleagues used to tell me that it required lying on the sofa, under a blankie, with tomato soup and CBeebies. It wouldn’t have surprised me if he’d sucked his thumb! And bear in mind he was a roughty-toughty firefighter! Awesome bloke, used to make me howl with laughter! 😉😊

Heavens above, Cheery - sit somewhere else if you can stay upright, yes, but nothing more than that - experimenting with a gap between tablets is interesting, but its obviously shown you how ill you *actually* are. Good idea to try to eat something.2023: the year I get to buy a car6

😂😂 thanks Beanie 😂😂 I got half a freedom earlier, very exciting!
Just had a message from my dad - he's in hospital 🙄 sounds like he feels OK, but they're keeping him in for tests for the time being.
