Ugh - what a Palaver - I'm so sorry the transport gawds didn't favour you on the way home :( So thankful you had a nice warm place to hang out in while craziness ensued at the station.  Fingers crossed you get home and into bed soon & that a restful day is had tomorrow.

I'm just home a short while ago, have scoffed some bits from the fridge & sent off the last few e-mails of the day. Off to bed now, then up early for an 8:30 physio appt! Then back online for a day of crazy unplanned working from home!

Ugh! That’s rubbish! I hope you’ve gone back to the land of nod now. I get a sore throat when I’m feeling run down, so you have my sympathy on that score too. Lots of vitamin C needed today!

I think you know that my usual treatment for a sore throat that I suspect might be heading into a tonsillitis sort of thing is blazing hot drinks and a stiff talking to - it’s amazing how often the combinations seems to do the trick.

And of course the hectic week you’ve already had would have to have been made a degree worse by the train mess last night. Notwithstanding the awful situation for the person originally involved and their family and friends, the knock on effects from how it was then managed absolutely did affect you negatively as well - and lots of others too of course but I imagine a fair few of them may not have been going as far as you. Very glad you eventually made it home whenyou did, and that it wasn’t any later.

Hopefully any working you need to do today is not going to be all day and you do get some proper rest time later. NO LISTS! Not today! 😘

That's so rough for you, Cheery (and RT, good heavens that's late) I hope the extra sleep helps you.  And yes, mega doses of Vit C are a good idea.
