Thanks all. I had another busy day yesterday, but there were no minor crises, the car was fixed for £40, and I was in bed and asleep by 9pm 😃😂😂
Feeling considerably brighter this morning, and am now on a train heading down south. I don't have a cup of tea though - can I last as far as London or do I go in search of train tea (with inadequate milk) and risk losing my seat??4 -
Don't risk losing your seat! Hang in there and get your tea (with the right amount of milk) when you arrive.3
-
Fortunately I now have both tea and a better seat! I did wait til we'd passed a station before heading to the buffet car though 😁 There were hardly any people on the train at that point, and plenty of free seats, and a good half hour til the next station. Risky, but not that risky in the circumstances 😂
Got a table to myself with a plug socket now - fancy! And only one more station til London so it might stay that way!
Tea was definitely rubbish with inadequate UHT milk 🙄 but at least caffeine.3 -

Ooh, and exciting news - my study shelves are in progress! 😃😃 there are lines on the walls, the wood has been cut, we have all the appropriate screws etc. I think today might be the day of drilling into the walls - I'm glad I'm not there as that's often the time it all goes wrong 😂 But hopefully by tonight I should have my cheery new bookshelves! 😊
Looks like there was a big sort out in the music room after I went to bed last night too - the living room was full of drums this morning, and the bath full of stuff for the loft 😂8 -
In the bath 😂.Happy new shelves to you.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters.
