Thanks both 😊 definitely feel better than yesterday. Not convinced tomorrow's train journey is going to help but hey ho 🙄
Did actually manage most of my list! Put sheets on both our bed and the spare - the only thing I didn't do was put the sofa bed away - will only take five minutes but I just can't be bothered now, it can wait. Oh, and I haven't looked for my red sandals yet... 🤔
Need to leave about 7.40 tomorrow - I'll want a shower but if I find my sandals tonight, everything will be ready to go. It's a quick trip - if all goes to plan, I should be home by 5.30, fingers crossed... Shouldn't need to spend anything either - got breakfast, lunch, snacks and water packed, and I'll be home in time for tea.
Oh! And I'm quite annoyed with myself - I had a voucher for £10 off a £20 spend on No 7 stuff. Actually remembered when we were in the shop last week, but it was a small branch and there wasn't anything I wanted, so figured I'd leave it til I was in a different branch. Going through London tomorrow, remembered the voucher, and figured I'd pick something up there - but it ran out today! Very annoying 🙄 Hey ho.4 -
Oh bad luck. I’m always finding that I’m doing that with vouchers.KKAs at 15.12.25:

Yep, hope the train is smooth, and the meeting a good one.
Shame about the voucher! I've just done something similar myself - the people where I buy wholefood online are always offering free product if you put the code in, and I had a kilo of almonds ready to go, but I forgot! I'm ever so slightly peeved with myself 🤣2023: the year I get to buy a car5 -
We need an app for this! 😂Karmacat said:Yep, hope the train is smooth, and the meeting a good one.

I think I need a slap rather than an app - I'm sure I'd just forget to put the voucher in! 😂
But seriously, I bet there is one - you could have it ping you if you were anywhere near the shop, and remind you with a few days to go if you weren't 😁7 -
Evening chums 😊
Not much to report here. Today's trip was relatively uneventful. Trains weren't busy, meeting was good, and I'm safely back home now 😊
Mr Cheery is out for the evening, so I need a list!
6.30-7.30 LAST OF THE SUNSHINE
* get outside for a bit
* bring washing in
* compost out
7.30-8.30 TEA AND FINISHING
* quick work task 🙄
* make and eat tea
* tidy kitchen
* prepare breakfast and lunch for tomorrow
8.30-9 TIDYING UP
* clothes in bedroom
* put washing away
* quick tidy round
9-9.30 FLUTE
* bit of practice - been neglecting this over the summer
9.30 onwards SOFA
* maybe a blog post
* maybe some video editing
* maybe some banking
* maybe just curling up and nodding off... 😂7 -
Glad the work day was easy and calm and hope you had a lovely evening 😊
