Two hours in, and I've done two sides. Quite bored of kneeling on the floor and taking an increasing number of unproductive breaks 🙄😂2023: the year I get to buy a car2 -

Having some suggestions surfing across the room on an upturned coffee table filled with heavy objects 😂😂
Still going to the cafe at 3.30 😂8 -
All done! 😁
Complete palaver of course, but considering the folded carpet that doesn't quite reach into all the corners, I reckon I've done a pretty good job!
Done a second coat on the bare bits of wall - just got two walls that need a final coat now to match everything up - not doing that tonight.
Tried to get a few things back in, managed the rug and the desk chair, but I'm tired and risk of stupid injury is high at this point so I've stopped.

Poor bookcase, I'd have kept it and double stacked it lovingly. And then stacked more books in front.
Room looks good though.
Mr Redo has done a couple of carpets here and I agree that they are not fun, and that you should always roll not fold a stored carpet. He was not a happy bunny when I got home with a folded off cut, we had to roll it and wait for it to recover. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

That looks absolutely brilliant!!! Well done! 💪👏😊
As well as thermally warmer, I think the colour of that carpet is a visually warmer shade too? It will be interesting to see how much more comfortable you find it 😊

Looks really good @Cheery_Daff. I'm sure you'll be much warmer with having the carpet. The room will feel a lot bigger without the big bookcase too.
