I loved matched betting, wonder if I should get back into something like that again
I remember the days we had parties at hypno's and Tillys ... it's a great community here.
Kc the brain fog is frustrating, I still have wee touches of it and it still drives me mad xxx3 -
I missed the party! And a Pern party too! I preferred the Anne only books, but am obsessive about following characters, so read the Todd ones too. Haven’t read them in ages, will have to check them out of the library of Dad 😊 I also enjoy the Botany series - any takers for that here?
Great news about the refund Cheery!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

we should call ourselves " The Pern collective " 🤣🤣🤣🤣5

Well, quite clearly I have missed out on something very exciting here! I must investigate over the winter 😁
Delighted to have found a free parking spot at work 😁 Less delighted that the boss has called a very short notice meeting at 4pm - doesn't he know i was planning on skiving off early as my friend is coming to stay?! 🙄😂 (it wasn't skiving, actually - more taking back hours overworked a couple of weeks ago, and no he didn't know).
Anyway, best get into the office I suppose 🙄 Lots of meetings today!6 -

My friend has 'considerately' (maliciously) said he will arrive at 5pm so I don't have to miss it 😡😂😂 I will at least be home by then!5

Sorry Cheery, we've well and truly hijacked here. How annoying about the 4pm meeting! And how 'kind' of your friend!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Well!! Meeting turned out to be 'interesting' (and not what I was expecting) - basically we have to move buildings at short notice during our busiest period of the whole year 🙄 Couldn't have done it during the summer when everyone has plenty of time to sort and pack up their offices of course 🙄😂
Friend turned up during the meeting, rained so hard we couldn't do any hay stuff, and we brought the new washing machine inside, only for Mr Cheery to be cross because he'd spent ages wrapping it up so it could stay outside 🙄
Still, we got some of the kitchen ceiling done, Mr Cheery's dad bought us an exercise bike from a charity shop, and we have now moved onto alcohol so all good 😂6 -

I also enjoyed the survival elements of the Cantteni series. However my favourite non pern series by far was the Crystal Singer trilogy - have read them several times and always enjoy them. Perhaps I will start a diary of my own to blither about books.5 -
