Popped to Mr Ts this morning as needed some fruit and veg plus a couple of other bits and spent £23.65 of GC leaving £206.27/£250.
Also spent £7 of the bulk fund on 2 doz cans of diet tonic; this should last at least 2-3 months (hopefully). This leaves £38.34 (as not much carried over from last month as did a big freezer fill up!).

No further spends to report yet. I had an omelette for lunch and I'm having chilli and rice for dinner which was leftover bolognese with added kidney beans and chilli powder. The HT had lunch at college and is having home made pasta bake from the freezer with some extra leftover pasta sauce also from the freezer. I seem to have taken quite a few things out of the freezer without making room for anything else to go in 😂8

Another £17.28 on topping up today. Me and the mini beast have to isolate for 3 days before he has some dental work done at the hospital on Monday, so today’s shop was more making sure that we don’t run out of anything before I can get to the shop again, and ensuring that we have plenty of soft/easy to eat stuff for him afterwards.January total so far is 51.90/150.00LBM December 2021

Still no money spent but I went back to the local food hub for a few bits, namely bread, which they had (for dgd who is staying the night) as I don't eat much of it so hadn't any, and then a few Xmas bits ie stollen, panetone and some dusted almonds which will be enjoyed by dds family. Not much for me but I did get some garlic, lemons and some trail mix, all random!!!
The church pantry isn't open until next week, but I should beable to manage until then if I make a menu plan and stick to it!!!

@joedenise yes great idea. I will do that next month or if I can find some extra money before then I will start this month.
Quick Tesco shop today, my DIL had a delivery so I tagged on there to save the diesel to the shops and the delivery fee. Bought Bovril, herbs, lean corned beef and bananas...oh and cheese I forgot that. Bovril will go in spag bols and lasagnes and also on toast, the herbs are thyme for using on roast potatoes and baked potatoes mixed with cheese, garlic salt for spag bols, lasagnes etc. I find this lasts ages, easy to use and tastes nice, lean corned beef for pasties or pie and sandwiches. £12.83 spent.January total is now £77.10/£200

Yesterday I went to Lidl to do a bulk shop and spent £93.68 but they didn’t have quite a few things, I managed to pick up some of the things I didn’t get like juice and rice at a different branch today and spent £25.76. DH stopped at the Co-Op on his way home to get lactose free milk as neither Lidl had any and spent another £2.
Hopefully some of the Lidl bits will last us through until to mid/end of February.
