A heads-up:-Hopefully you have read and understood the Template Defence and therefore realise that the existing para 7 in the Template states - "He was not taken by either party to Somerfield in point #5 above and in any event it is worth noting that the lead Southampton case of Britannia v Crosby was not appealed."As you now have more than paras 2 and 3 - and therefore have to renumber the subsequent paras - you have altered the reference to point 5 accordingly.2

Read other DCBLegal claim threads where that tedious auto template reply has been covered and discussed to death already!
You would be sooo much better prepared by coming off this thread and learning what to expect.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I’m not very tech savvy. This is the first time I’ve ever used a site like this. I don’t even know how to find these threads. Just looking for some help .0

Just go to the first page of the forum where you will see all the active threads/discussion and look at the titles to find the DCBL ones or search the forum using the search box at the top of the page.2

Hi all, update on my ongoing saga. Yesterday I received a phone call from DCB legal making me an offer to settle out of court. They said if I paid £150 they would discontinue their claim. I declined and said I would see them in court.
Today I received an email from them Issuing a N279 Notice of Discontinuance. I presume this is the end of the matter but I have a couple of years questions-
Do I need to do anything now like contact the court.
Can I claim compensation for the time I’ve invested in this so far.
Thanks in advance1
