No...because I can 'move to' as well as 'label' something.  Two different things.  The 'folders' nestle under the Inbox,

If an email from Tesco arrives in the inbox with a Tesco label , you cannot move it to what you think is the Tesco folder , so it exists in 2 places , but remains in the inbox.
I can, and it doesn't stay in the Inbox.  I can move it and that is a different choice than 'label'.

Can't do it on a phone but can on my laptop.

  • Good Evening everyone,

I appreciate all of your concerns and i have been trying to find a solution to why i’m unable to receive auto reply emails to either my spam/junk or all-mail folder in my gmail account. 2 hours in and still no solution, seems very odd and complicated if i was to fix the issue i would need to look into creating exemptions, forwarding etc…

Nevertheless, i have received the auto reply through my hotmail account.

But still no sign of any reply from the CCBC in my gmail account apart from the test email sent to me this morning while i was on the phone to a customer service assistant.

As I said , Gmail is a strange animal and many people across the world have struggled with its vagaries , which is why I rarely use it , I prefer conventional folders rather than one box with labelled contents , Google search is awash with problems caused by their unique system including the can't move an email from the inbox issues ( relabelling ) , trust me , it wasn't a problem that needed a fix !

I do appreciate your information and efforts on this conundrum , because you are not the first victim of Gmail

I won't be analysing it any further , but leave it to tech experts who make their money writing about it. In the world of technology , you will find strange anomalies with operating systems ,computers , mobile phones , tablets , routers , forums etc

Boeing refused to acknowledge computer problems with the max 8 , until proven otherwise ! Tech is a strange master , but it keeps many people in work , so now with windows 11 the vagaries and anomalies abound ! Frankly I abhor the USA giant tech companies with their we know best attitude ! Their bosses are the most condescending in the world , like Bezos thanking all of his customers for his expensive space jaunt !

As long as it's been received , check it is logged at some point over the next week or so , then stick with the 12 numbered steps !

Check back here if any anomalies occur too , but keep a weather eye on progress

For Gmail accounts , check your inbox , spam , trash and all mail sections , 4 in total

    Hello Everyone,

Just an update & Question regarding my case:

    • I received BWlegals Notice of intention to proceed on the 27th January 2022
    • I received the n180 form from the CCBC on the 9th February 2022
    • I received a copy of [Removed by Forum Team] copy of his n180 form on the 15th of February 2022
On the letter from the CCBC it states i have till  the 28th of February 2022 to complete and return the n180 form.
    • This evening i followed bargepole's guide in completing the n180 form by hand and followed mrs coupon mad's instructions from the suggested template by scanning it and sending it via email to the CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk and to disputeresolution@bwlegal.co.uk
My Question is after looking over the copy of bwlegal's n180 form they have put 0 on the D3 question regarding witnesses giving evidence at the hearing. Does this mean [Removed by Forum Team] or anyone from bwlegal will not be attending?

    Thank you

It means that there will be no witness present supporting the Claimant's case.
However, there may well be an advocate representing the Claimant.
  • Thank you Keith i guess it’s definitely going to go ahead then. I will carry on with my witness statement at the mean time till i get another update.

Just another question I had, can i quote or extract information from the new code of practice published on the 7th of February and formulate an argument to put forward to the judge on the day of the hearing?

Yes, but put it as an Exhibit with your WS and gen up on it all now.  Happy reading:

That thread explains why it matters even to existing cases and it's not even in the Template Defence yet because it's so new but can be added to the witness statement later.
