There is due to be another public consultation regarding the charges the parking industry want to impose on the general motoring public. We need everyone to have their say in response.

It probably won't happen until the autumn, but please pop back on a regular basis to check the forum for information about it. When it happens, please get every one of you friends, colleagues, and family to have their say as well.

Near the start was the first time I publicly admitted my involvement in the Government Steering Group that formulated the new statutory Parking Code of Practice.  Now you'll know what I meant here:

I fought a similar battle recently, to drag the DLUHC into understanding that the very plausible anti-consumer crap from the besuited PPC Brigade was just that: Plausible, but anti-consumer crap.

And at the end of the thread I've just posted where we are at now with an ALL IMPORTANT FINAL PUBLIC CONSULTATION later this year.
