I have told OH that I will buy the shopping from now on so that he can pay some debts off.. (I'm debt free after being made bankrupt).
I am going to limit myself to £40 shopping budget a week for 2 people, instead of the £100 we have been spending before!! Ooops!
I / We will save £240 a month...
Great post & well done for everyone so far!

I'm going ot give up buying food at work, and unnecessary evening treats from the co-op: money saving and should help me on my way to being a fat-free wannabe in the new year :T0 -
have added the most recent requesters!
hypno, well done on the lunch!
spendaholic, yay on not getting the mags. I have so many at home to read. I am going to take one out of the box at a time. I shall read it & if there is anything I want from it I shall cut it out. Then I shall recycle or if in good enough condition take it to the GP's waiting room.
I did not go near the magazine section today so was not tempted. Don't buy newspapers in the week. So nothing to add to my savings today.
Hope everyone is ok

Well didn't go out for drinks tonight so there's a start, though the challenge will be on Thursday night when we go out to celebrate the end of term, not only cos Thursday is usually kebab night, but I will be sticking to water and diet coke...eep!...I like my coffee black, just like my metal!

I'm not at work for the rest of the week, so no temptation to buy food when I am at work, but I still need to not be tempted to buy "extras" at the corner shop or supermarket, or at the ski club, etc.
So, the challenge continues - I am doing ok so far, and hope everyone else is too!
