I like this idea - can I join please?
Sadly I'm a sucker for a bit of Celeb gossip, which quite frankly isn't actually worth the price mag, so that's it, no silly mags for me this month. I'll be quids in!

Hey hey hey, my second weekend of no booze and kebabs, and I feel so much better for it! So I am definitely in for february, could be interesting since I am at home for a couple of weeks of therefore nicer alcohol available in England (mmm Strongbow, but if I don't buy it I am not going to count it!) Also, kebabs in England are crap compared to Germany so that part should be easy. Good luck everyone! XxX...I like my coffee black, just like my metal!

This is my 2nd week of the challenge. I'll only do this week and next week as I'm on holiday the last week of January.
I'll be in again for February but I'll be adding the challenge of not using the car for work - taking the train instead which will save me about £20 a month plus the wear and tear on the car and delay the service by at least another 3 months. Unfortunately I still need a car to get me to the train station but it's only 5 mins by car (would love to walk or cycle but no footpath and not the safest road for cycling, especially at this time of year). I'll also still not be buying food at work which will save me about £50 a month.

I still haven't been to the shops this year!!!
No mags bought, but give in to a bar of chocolate at the garage last week!
For me this is wonderful, particularly when I keep hearing about the special offers like 90% off at boots!!
