  • A very late update from me...have been back to the UK and was back in Berlin for NY. Bought a couple of beers, Becks with green lemon, aka 2.5% so not only did I spent about a fiver, I didn't have the almighty hangover the next day (unlike my OH lol!)

Had a glass of wine with dinner last night, which OH paid for (will let him come to visit more often!) and my downfall, I did buy us a kebab today, so that was €5/£3.50 , however he said he would buy my water filters (€19/£13.50) if I bought the kebabs, so this seemed like a good deal to me!

He goes back to the UK tomorrow, so it is then that my challenge will start in earnest. Think the money I am saving will go into a spending money piggy bank for the summer, woo! (Which I managed to get a shiny new Percy Pig piggy bank in the sales as a late Xmas present, how very MSE!)

Glad to hear everyone is doing well, keep it up!

My pot now has £43.81 in it.

Still utterly amazed at how much I was spending.

I have decided to spend the money on ME ME ME at the end of the month!

    Well done to you others!

Oh! And I am NOT MISSING THE MAGAZINES EITHER!
