I actually just received a very surprising email. I'm not sure if I should get excited yet but it seems they are giving up with the case. 

Dear __________, 

 

We act for the Claimant in the above matter.  

 

Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close our file. Therefore, please find enclosed the Claimant’s N279 Notice of Discontinuance for your records.  

 

The attached has also been filed with the Court.

I've had two end up the same way with exactly that email, also had one for my partner end like that too.

Seems to me that UKPC and DCB are just biding their time and hoping people settle.

Annoyingly I've received another court bundle for another one of UKPC scam PCN's this morning. And so it starts again. Well done for hanging this one out!

We need you - as a genuine PPC victim of aggression, sharp practice and an 'extortion' attempt to add £70 - to respond robustly to the Public Consultation on the level of parking charges and banning of the false added DRA 'fee' that too many honest motorists currently fall victim to.
